Still a brochure from there would be nice. I want to believe LMUR’s capabilities, but I can’t just take word of mouth. And how does Gaijin choose the highest AoA value for the LMUR when JAGM and other missiles have already well known AoA values?
Imagine if the roles were reversed and the LMUR had lower AoA values. What sources would russian players use in the bug reports to fix it?
It’s lofting capabilities can also be seen in all videos available for it, and no the operator is not steering it up, it’s operates like any other NLOS/Fire and forget weapon. Also I’m aware of some of the others not working as intended, they should be similar.
It has a datalink for operators to steer it. One of the modes is where the LMUR is fired by GPS first and the IR seeker is turned on later for the operator to guide in the terminal phase. And is there a video showing the steep top down flight path Gaijin claims it has?
There’s plenty of that on telegram.
Well if you can share them here, that would be great. And of course no one dies in the footage.
I’m not sharing combat footage on the forum, it would get taken down anyways.
Did you find any videos that aren’t combat footage?
How do you know they are actually perfectly identical? Maybe they are trained how to do different profiles certain ways the way pilots train maneuvers certain ways
This always reminds me of the fact that the Mark 4 mod 0 20mm gunpod on the A-4E / F-4J had a tenth the ROF it should have, due to them dropping a “0”, off 3600 in the files. And it needing to have a primary source provided to prove as such when it was “properly” implemented on the Event H-34, due to them not accepting the fact that the H-34 had it implemented properly.
It still took nearly a year to have that fixed after it was accepted.
Yeah but in this case, Gaijin gave unique values to each missile, not sure what logic they used to calculate them…
And the LMUR only has footage of it killing people lmao.
Hellfires and Spikes have been broken for two years, I don’t expect a fix anytime soon.
because if you would invest 30 seconds to type in lmur missile launch on youtube, you would find out that the gunner is only holding the seeker on target and not controling the missile like a nord
like why isnt everybody just using mclos missiles then if you could just train your gunners better to hit stuff
And yet they didn’t give the AGM-179 that option. That’s just incredibly biased. I don’t believe there will ever be any semblance of national balance in this game.
You gotta love the Russian bias in this game man lol LEMURs also shouldn’t be 1 shotting everything 100% of the time. Whilst JAGMS with a tandem warhead gets nothing lol The devs cope so hard to make Russia look good JAGM early 2000s LEMURs 2020 😂😂😂
They’ll never be fixed Cant Have NATO outpacing Russia in this game
Hey Gaijin, if mi28nm can select a higher AoA for LMUR let Puma and Apache do the same. :) What’s up with this double standard? Why add more NATO vehicles that can use FnF missiles but not fix the missiles themselves?
They can select a higher aoa? I thought it was a fixed value
I was talking about IRL. It’s just funny how in game LMUR got the highest AoA while NATO FnF missiles get a lower AoA even though all can choose a top down attack mode with selectable angles
Well duh, Gaijin knows we want direct attack only – hitting the strongest armor, always visible to AAs and missing 40 features.
Just another example of gaijin assuming the worst for NATO equipment and assuming the best for Russian equipment. We’ve all seen his “effective” Russian equipment is IRL so gaijin isn’t fooling anyone.
LMUR (Izdeliye 305) is state of the art weapon.
It acts like a nuke against tanks, while AGM-65D, which has three times the TNT mass, scores hits and crits.
AGM-179 JAGM IRL performance is a clear marketing lie. You get 16 of them, because they were designed to shoot four at each target for good result.
