What wrong with it
we also have level 10 at top tier too care to say anything about it?
I knew people that were fanatics of WW1 vehicles, it’s the only way in which they can play them. It sucks for new players but you can’t restrict people from playing with the vehicles they researched and brought. Gaijin can’t even get BR right so a skill-based matchmaking is much less relevant than actually fixing battle rating.
So you want to ban seal clubbing except when you do it…?? 'cos that is pretty much what you just said!
Me playing a low BR tank is not inherently seal clubbing. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.
I think there should be limits/different MM for people who almost exclusively use sub 3.0 vehicles, because you shouldn’t be able to face brand new players as a highly experienced one.
Well there’s a conundrum then - if you playing low level is “not inherently seal clubbing” what makes you think anyone else doing the same is doing so?
My favourite vehicle is the A14. Does that make me a sea clubber just because I’m playing my favourite vehicle?
Well, I’m 9 lvl and I don’t really complain about that. The best way to be a not easy adversary for 100s is own tactics, strategy and brains… and luck of course. Press Tab and analyse profiles of your foe and attack that are 50/50 same as you and you can attack ‘busy’ 100 lvls. And you should know that 100 lvls can play literally on anything, not only fighters.
You are lvl 100. Why is other lvl 100s playing low BR “seal clubbing” but you doing same thing is not?
Hypocrite much?
I doubt there’s man interwar fanatics in warthunder that actually has skill, there are some sure, but not the top 90 of lvl 100s
Seal clubbing is intentionally playing extremely low tier tanks primarily to do good/get good stats. Abusing undertiered and overpowered tanks also count as seal clubbing below 2.3/2.7. A lvl 100 playing a P-39N, Ka-Chi, or a BT-5 or He-100 is much more likely to be seal clubbing than someone in an M4A5 or something like that.
I’d like gaijin to separate levels at level 15 for BRs below 2.3 to mitigate the experience advantage that lvl 100s have.
Let’s say there is a new low tier prop you dont have such as now - and you dont have a premium account - your gonna use a low tier aircraft to unlock it.
Amongst many other reasons ofc.
some do so to feel self worth where they suck everywhere else.
Some of you seem to intentionally ignore it, whether its because you like to club the seals or its because you have whatever kind of different opinion. But imagine this scenario. You start to play the game with a friend, as you are playing as duo you always get an uptier, not only some uptier, but most of the time at least 6/16 players are lvl 100 players with 10k+ games. Thats not only huge skill, map knowledge and understanding of the game gap but also huge gap on the crews that most of these guys have maxed at the time. I would fully respect if he was indeed leveling a new tree but 8/10 times they are sitting in the premium vehicle / utilize the most broken one on BR thats also 1.0 BR higher than you and just club you, I suffered trought the same issues on almost any BR. What could fix it is make the lvl 100 players only play with another lvl 100 players, there is plenty of players in the queue anyway, and if they want to play the low tiers there will be plenty of players to play against them too. The other issue on hand is gap of 1.0 BR is huge when you take into account that most of the tanks dont even fit into the same era. Even tho I liked german tree I had to switch to russians so we dont get clubbed by T-54/55, T10-Ms and such.
There are not THAT many lvl 100 tankers playing at very low BRs.
There are likely a few seal clubbers as you suggest - I’ve encountered them.
There are also, as other have suggested, players using a newly added vehicle.
And then there’s players who prefer the ww2 battle experience and thus often play tanks in the 2.7BR - 6.0BR range.
The amount of lvl 100 players in reserve-tank levels is quite small, and would not justify splitting the queue and forcing EVERYONE (including newbies) to wait much longer.
One thing Gaijin could implement is something that artificially limits the crewskills when a player drops down to certain BRs. At least something like that would make sure ace crews are not fighting recruits.
Do we have any statistics to that anywhere to start from ? Because the numbers really dont feel as low as you present them. I would rather wait 3-5 minutes on every game, than falling into one that I cant win. There are 150k active players almost every day, that means changes could be done and people ask for them forever as Ive searched several threads mentioning this issue.
That is pretty much, how we learn. I also started off like this and when you practice and become skilled yourself, you can easily keep up. But its definitely a journey though.
I wouldnt even say its a journey. Its like getting molested every day with a promise that one day you can molest other players. Which doesnt really make that much sense, does it ?
I didn’t have too much problems, just start off in arcade and play at least 100 hours there and then switch you realistic, once your good enough.
I went through the recruit phases just like everyone else playing here, and I joined not that long ago - so it’s not like there weren’t a ton of players already in the game nuch higher than me.
I encountered some lvl 100 -layers, and it was annoying. But I do not believe it was an epidemic.
Gaijin would NEVER implement something that would create an average 5 minute queue time.
