They are superior to LGBs at the same BR and fill the same niche, leaving them out of the equation and holding the USSR and Germany as being inferior is obtuse.
The SU-25 gets spawned with S-250s because it costs flat out nothing to do so, you literally just have to cap a single point or get two spotting kills to spawn it compared to a cap + 1 kill or more for anything laser guided.
I want to see cold war jets like;
McDonnell F-101B Voodoo
Convair F-106A Delta Dart
Convair F-102A Delta Dagger
Yeah everybody who has tried this knows it, the sight on those is horrible compared to the mavericks/GBU-8s.

Very easy to hit targets at the same ranges with bullpups as with Kh-25’s. The main limitation is spotting distance, once you spot the target, all good.
