take it as you want, but that is part of all top tier rounds, only thing them being lazy is AHEAD, that shit round cant even hit hovering Helicopters, but the APFSDS is balancing sadly. But we can force it with the new Puma variant and it not making enough damange for its br anymore

note: the dimensions and weight estimated are 99.9% correct, when I plug my numbers into L-O, it returns 121mm of flat perforation at 10 meter distance/0 degree angle. So this is 100% what Gaijin used.
Might be due to the smoothness of the metal and the quality of the paint and paint application. Like any coating or different primers used. Those factors can play a big role in how shiny and bright paint looks. Like the same color tone on a $20,000 car is going to look far brighter and shinier on a $200,000 car simply due to the techniques used in application.
Luckily the ahead issue seems like it’ll get fixed soon, since they’ve added the sabot petal damage models…

No way that has anything to do with balancing. A IFV without missiles that gets its spalling intentinally nerfed for “balancing reasons”? Its already 10.0 and stuggles to kill most things because the dart just does barely any damage

I was talking to Furina earlier, I have (what believe to be) an easy way to fix/implement/code MUSS I might make a bug report adding the info in for.
In theory (i have to check/find the code to confirm), it should be possible to just use the Black Knights Iron fist APS code for the 360 detection/reaction system, and just change the effector from hard kill to the MUSS code? I have to look into it some more to confirm this tho.

in theory, my method SHOULD work to solve that too.
Replacing the hardkill effectors with MUSS would make the IRCM dazzler only activate when something is fired at/near the Puma, and only in its direction as well.
Thats how i’m assuming itd work atleast, I could be wrong about the way the Iron Fist code works though, but I have to find it first lol
I assume the structural steel ones are the massive blocks on the front corners that look a lot like they should be armor.
Pumas base armor as someone has already mention is way too thin. Its labeled as 15mm of armor but even without a ruler you can tell the close up shots of the real thing has more like 25-30mm of armor.
The pumas ufp 5mm issue must have been a mistake on the bug reporters fault because in game theres a 5mm external plate, then a very hard to see 20mm composite screen, 8mm of rubber and finally 15mm of armor.
The LFP is probs the most wrong piece of armor on the Puma tbh. Not only does it not match its own visual model in-game, it doesnt match the IRL pictures of it in both thickness or composition.

TLDR: The Puma LFP is likely missing around 85mm of RHA, with the front plate missing ~35mm of thickness and an ENTIRE 50mm plate missing from the armor model.

I assume what this is trying to show is the entire ufp is supposed to be composite. Not quite sure what im supposed to take from it.
