The fact that there are some gaps in the TT for the Germans is not that dramatic.
Then take a look at the Swedes, it’s much worse there.
But what I find worse is that some vehicles are put on BR levels where they don’t belong because they are classified far too high.
Only Gaijin knows why.
Yes, I agree. I said as much myself:
Gaijin could simply fill 2 gaps with the same chassie. Light tank for germany at tier 3 and another light tank at 6.7.
There are so few vehicles between the leo marder etc. era and the end of ww2. Only m41 and m48 are there but light tanks and other vehicles are still missing
Seeing as how I’m already doing that, it’s not really a big deal, but the fact they aren’t getting anything major in updates isn’t fair.
I don’t respond to incentives like that either, I play what I play for reasons other than what Gaijin usually cooks up, but that’s normal, because I realise I’m pretty far from being the average player mentality-wise. Moves like these are not targeted to long time players who set their own goals, but to people that periodically drop out and back into the game.
Like what vehicles ?
so… a 7.3 lineup is… 1 tank and a… spaa?
I don’t see why a Leopard has to be 8.0, no stabilizer, no rangefinder, no APFSDS, no armor, no autoloader.
- Kugelblitz
- Panther II (although no longer available for many)
- Tiger 10.5 (the same as the Panther)
even if many people see it differently.
- Maus (is a vehicle from WWII)
- E100 (same as the mouse)
Leopard 2A4 + PzBtl are more like 10.0 and not 10.3 (Only on 10.3 the Leo’s are almost always matched with 11.3)
…
Don’t have much knowledge about those so I won’t comment.
I don’t think Maus is unfairly put to 7.7.
Yes, it’s a niche vehicle that has to be played in a certain manner, but that’s to be expected from such a weird vehicle.
Eh, I don’t see a reason why those should be below T-80B and M1s.
Maus is completely fine at 7.7.
Spawn in Ru first. Scout as much as you can, use mobility to get to a good spot, then assess what the situation is after your first death.
A second spawn might present us with a couple options.
JPz 4-5 has the same cannon as the Ru, and is not less survivable or fast, though more situational because no turret. It might be under-BR’d, but it still works at 7.3 and even 7.7.
Wiesel if you need AA or you want to go cap something really fast.
If you die again, and can still afford to spawn, it’s likely that the match is in its closing minutes and many people are down to their last tanks. Anything left out from the list so far has a reasonable chance at seeing you through the end of the match.
This is how I approach 7.7 as well, with the only difference being that often there I spawn the Maus first.
I don’t play 7.3 solo very often because it’s boring. Not because I think that lineup is bad.
Maybe because it will trade blows with other 8.0 mediums such as M60 and is outright better than 7.7 mediums such as T-54 ?
I’d rather play most of the French tanks that are faster, better turret rotation, autoloaders and trade crappy APDS and HEATFS for APCBC at a lower BR.
Why a Leopard on 10.3 is unfair?
Take a look at the Russian TT and tell me what a Leopard can do better than T-72AV?
Thermal? No!
Armor? No!
Maybe the firepower? Unfortunately not either!
What is it then?
The only thing that the Maus has is armor.
It’s slow in every way, from speed to turret rotation rate!
What makes a Panther 2 so much stronger that it has to be on 6.7 and not on BR6.3
The Tiger 10.5 has a larger caliber, but also a damn long reload time.
Then play it, everyone has their preference but as I already said, Leopard I is just fine at 8.0, really good all around.
Much better mobility, much better gun handling, better gun depression, better reload.
It’s weird how you missed all of those things lmao.
And some heavies at 7.7 won’t even have that.
It has a pretty nice main cannon for a 7.7 heavy, coax gun will also come in handy as well.
As I said, you can’t expect to play Maus as your ordinary vehicles.
Yeah, Leo 1 is fantastic at 8.0
still prefer the M48 over the Leo
And a god tier APHEDS. And an incredibly good coax, and a trolly reverse gear.
It just needs to be played with a peculiar mindset that doesn’t really transfer that well from/to other tanks. I have plenty of fun with it, and god knows I’m nothing special.
The only problem with the Leo 1 is the god awful manouverability.
It’s fast im a straight line and that’s it.
Data from TS > easily measurable and constant performance metrics ?
If so, we have nothing else to talk about.
