Honestly the BVM shouldn’t be grouped into the same BSery as T-90M, its significantly less survivable due to vertical carousel and lack of spall liner, plus massive turret roof and overall worse armor. In my experience its rare to see it tank a shot it shouldn’t, unless they’re carrying low amounts of ammo, which is rather common nowadays.
I do have to ask though;
Do T-80U and BVM possess the same trunnion? Or well, which one is stronger?
This might be confirmation bias but I feel like BVM is least prone to tanking breach shots when compared to T-80U or T-72/90.
Even then the maxed out expert reload on the Leo is 6.4 seconds, you need the ace crew for 6 seconds. Also the commander dying instantly makes the reload worse by 10% iirc…
So yea 9/10 times the BVM fires faster than the Leopards.
You don’t have the PSO, 2A6, or 2A7. You only possess the 2A5, which is better than BVM, but not close to v3.

Germany top tier is indeed kind of a disaster right now, but it was absolutely great for most of 2025.
All of them have the same trunnions, though idk if BVM mantlet plate is stronger than T-80U’s as its’ volumetric and I cba to compare pixels.
It’s possible however that some inner dimensions are different, which may result in the origin of any spall to be further towards the breech, thus reducing the final angle-coverage. But thats moreso a theory for now, maybe I’ll get bored enough to check in crash-simulator assetviewer

All the Leclerc sit at 12.7 and the last one is a straight downgrade to the one before being heavier and losing commander thermals for a lws…
Though from statistics, italy players could probably still achieve similar stats in those like germany players with the leo2a5 (which is also funny how leo 2a5 and 2a7 are the same BR with one just being a straight upgrade over the other in everything but forward mobility)

That sounds eeriely similar to the leclerc. Oh wait the leclerc doesnt even get a good dart for maybe a tad bit better armor on the turret front. Still half of it is penned by its own dm43 equivalent shell which then more often than not results in a 1 hit ko.
If arietes can sit a tad bit lower than absolute top tier, why cant the leclerc? what makes the leclerc objectively better than an ariete? its got some slight advantages but similar disadvantages in other metrics so idk…

Im not saying the EFT is bad in the slightest just that especially combined with helis German CAS is not that great.
Has anyone made a report on the wrong position of the Tatzenkreuz on the Schwerer Waffenträger Infantrie (sWaTrgInf) ingame yet. Ingame its placed on the turret sides but IRL they apparently place on on the sides of the hull, which was possible to see in a video posted one day ago by the official youtube channel of the Bundeswehr
