Yeah i am kinda on the fence with more hours into wt.
Currently nearly at 3000 and it just feels hollow.
I have fun if i use very specific lineups, but top tier you either use the meta or dont bother.
Like trynna get the CR3 TD to finish off britains.mbt line finally is a headache.
Genuinely its apalling like the f5C was fine at 11.0 and its back seeing 9.7s now

I mean at some point gaijin will have to bite the bullet and accept that up until the raptor, the european nations will be better, we’ve had the better 4.5th gens for years now and that hasn’t changed even with the F-15EX

On a more serious note, it will be interesting to see how they’ll handle the introduction of the Meteor, since it’s a >200km class missile (some obscure Japanese source suggests that it has range that is in excess of 300km, in fact), by comparison, the most capable US missile atm, that can be carried in large numbers, and on a platform that isn’t the Hornet, is the AIM-120D, which has range between 160 and 180km.

I mean they will struggle to nerf the meteor when every other long range BVRAAM is better than the american equivalent, I’m not confident that the AIM-260 will even change much either, given that the current top 3 AAMs in the world are Meteor, Pl-21 and PL-15
I mean will it really be interesting? Looking at the entire history of air, ground and naval in this game, they’ll likely either not implement it or just nerf it into being more in line with missiles from other nations. Like they have done with so many things in the past.

It genuinely depends cause for Air it seems US just gets such preferential treatement. theyve been top dog since the F4E respectively.

itll come nerfed or not at all.
They wouldnt even implement brimstone with a FnF mode when both the maverick and KH38 exist. hell even the KH29TE is brillaint for FnF
germany gets an ICE, Japan gets forgotten about, Isreal gets no lights or even semi mobil vehicles till top tier. France rather than fix it gets leopards xD Italy well its pretty good now but before was forgotten about. etc etc

got the best ARH nmissiles in game and good IR missiles, and if you know the phantom u can make it work ? i dunno i havent got hte ICE yet
Literally. Its no contest that the F-15E/I is the best jet in the game (both for A2A and CAS).
Honestly IDK why they didn’t make it a simple FnF. Just copy the Kh-38T’s FnF stats since its the best FnF missile.

I bet you guys didn’t even know about one of the funniest mechanics of the Agile Eagle kit, it’s pretty game changing. If ICE had like 6 maverics and HMD - I wouldn’t even want anything else for the next year, lol.

Since IR missiles don’t really matter (flares everywhere in abundance), an ordnance count of just 4 radar missiles is not really good. Its even worse with the Mig-29 with its mere two radar missiles. You shot two times and you’re almost useless. At least for me. IR missiles just don’t work for me. Also things like a HMD isn’t rally valued in BR matters. ICE has none, but most planes you’re playing against have HMD’s.
The raw ordnance count is imho something Gajin does not consider for balancing. Also ground related. Jets with 6 Mavericks cost the same amount of spawn points and share the same BR as a jet which might have just 2 Mavericks. Or the Tornado with just 4 GBUs shares the same BR as CAS jets which have more and more advanced ordnance.
Its all a bit strange. Tornado Assta at GRB BR 11.3 with not a single vehicle sharing this BR (!!! its so pointless) and other nations get CAS jets with far more booom at lower BRs. The 10.3 Tornados with just 1000lb bombs, nothing else, vs 2S6 or Strelas. Seriously. Its bad. The situation is so bad.
