We’re not even close to it coming. Some speculation earlier this year was that we would get it by December but that’s looking unlikely now. With the way the ICE is in the current meta, it would’ve been better to not add it. You’re lucky to even see a single one being played, if at all.

IRIS-T s not a missile in game currently. This is an intentional decision as it is an advanced missile over where we currently are in missile / aircraft technology. Therefor this is not considered a bug or reportable historical suggestion currently.
No denied per se, still can be added without a problem and the ICE would be more competetive outside of just lobbing aim 120´s,
With how powerful the missile is, it’d be forever before we get it added. Though I’m not opposed to getting it since it was always DOA.

We have no say, and it has been unofficially confirmed, anyway.
We might see the ICE as a test plataform like the SU-25 was for the 73, but it will take some time. I doubt we are seeing such missiles before the end of 2025.

The only reason I said that is because it seems like the swiss units are being added to the german tree, therefore if gaijin planned to add the F-18 in december update for multiple nations it would seem more likely than the EF, at least in my opinion.
