However, after the last rounds with my Leos went so well that I had lost almost every long-distance duel through oneshots. By the way, simply when shooting at the gun mantlet.
I moved to the forum. And lo and behold: Apparently there was another “balance nerf”. Great! A leopard that can take a hit was probably too much for the poor souls… And of course you nerf all the Leos, so that the earlier variants can no longer take anything. It’s sooo annoying.
You have to aim at a pixel on T90 and T82 so that a shot goes through. And even then, Stalinium likes to decide that this isn’t possible today. You don’t experience anything like that with tanks from other nations.
When I first started out, I only used arcade mode. I always said that everyone was imagining it. Russian bias blah blah blah. And then I tried it out and accepted: Yes, Russian tanks are easy mode in War Thunder. I accepted it. And then I put the Russians aside again and started with RB. But sometimes it’s frustrating.

Gotta keep that Russian Bias going.
They’re not exactly dirt cheap, it’s kind of a well advertised myth.
By knowing how russian military and equipment production works - you can debunk it pretty easily.

The one that makes the side ERA eat a 120 mm apfsds on a flat angle

Or where your 120mm APFSDS penetrated a BVM (no spall liners btw) and goes all they way through the lower plate doesn’t kill the driver somehow missis all the ammo and takes the engine and transmissions out so he then turns shoots you in your front plate of your 2A7V (has spall liners btw for the uninformed) and he gets all the spalling and kills you in 1 shot.

Hasnt happened to me Even once, never and I’ve played with russia and Japan at top tier btw
less frequent then russian tanks with/without spall liners

The last nerfs to the Leos caused the win rate to crash like rarely before.
How do You Even manage to get a leopard to eat a side shot without ERA?
I genuinely can’t remember a time where a Leo 2 has eaten a shot I fired at its side

So we ask him nicely and he just decides to leave and call US for “coping” sounds about right
happens sometimes but like i said less frequent or rather rarely
yes i even bounced on the side armor once but otherwise 1 hit and they usually dead
Now i don’t even need to aim anymore for the crew to nuke them
