I was trying to point out gaijins double-standard as they were fine with adding a incorrectly model plane for Italy but made German players wait.

So will germany ever get to recieve a new plane at the same time as its counterparts? Or will the german equivalent continue to always come 1-2 updates later?

the F16AJ is a funny one because NOBODY likes it CX It’s not the F-16AJ that was offered and tested, nor is it a real Japanese alternative like an early F2 prototype without an AESA. Sot it makes everyone mad no matter what nation they main! Even if it is still fun :P

My mig29 watching as the Su27 in front of me flares all my r73’s,dodges my r27er and makes 180, firing all four of its r73’s at me /s

Missiles: Identical. Amount is different, and in the meta loadout that’s just 8 vs 6.
Top speed: Mig-29. 1.3 vs 1.20 on the deck. Su-27 shares top speed with Mirage 2000, F-15, F-14A, and Gripen.
Maneuverability: Su-27, but an amount.
Flares: Both lack. 96 & 60 are equally mid.
Radar: Mig-29G by far.

Su 27 has 10 missiles and the radar is wip as its the dev server it should be better then the mig 29s although not crazy good

Radar will remain bad cause Su-27 didn’t get a good radar until later versions cause it relied on datalink from ground radars.
10 missiles means you reduce your airframe capability for at least 2 dud missiles.
SARHs are heavy & after the merge largely dead weight cause IR missiles are far more lethal.
It’s why my loadout on F-15 will be 4x2.
And Su-27 will be 6x2.
F-16C & Gripen I bring just 9Ms.
So your saying that 10 missiles is worse then 8? Lmao do you play top tier air? The more missiles the more kills you can get especjally with r73s and 27er/t

When the meta is to get in & out of engagements with as much of your air performance unimpacted, yes.
We’re to the part where reduced loadouts from maximum is meta.
You can only carry 2x ETs and that’s on the R-73 pylons.
It’s not a 1v16, it’s 16v16, you only need enough missiles for your probable KDR, for my I double the missile count cause I can screw up launch parameters sometimes.
So your saying that 27ers are not meta? I get at least 1 kill with them they are basically free kills. And 2 extra missiles on the su 27 will not impact the flight perfromance at all really, unless you start dogfighting instanly ofc

Radar missiles aren’t meta because they require people to be high altitude & unaware.
It’s why I only bring 2 on airframes that let me bring more.
After the merge I’ll at most see one more radar missile opportunity.
It’s all IR opportunities from the beginning of furballs.
I wish radar missiles were meta again, but you can force people to the deck without having any radar missiles equipped.
The fear exists whether you bring them or not.
I use ERs on standard Mig-29 cause R-60Ms are so atrocious, and thankfully 1 - 2 people climb, don’t attempt to defeat the missile, & allow me to kill them.
Radar missiles are the easiest type of missile to defeat so much so that people bring full flare loads cause they know they won’t die to a radar missile based on their tactics.
Players stopped letting radar missiles work a year ago the moment they learned to defeat them.
I personally find a lot of people high up early on or after/during a furball. But 4 r73s 4r27ers and 2 r27ets will be the best loadout in the game easily. And on the su 27s fm it will easily be the best new plane overall.
Ps. Wait until around 10km to fire 27ers, its 99%of the time to late to notch at that range

Ive found that play style really changes effectiveness of certain weaponry. Sometimes ill have my 27ers left at the end of a match with 3 r73 kills. Other times ill only get 1 or 2 r27er kills and not use the 73s. Besides whenever i run no radar missiles 15 F4S fly 5km high straight at me
You still get more missiles and if you need to dogfight, just bind a button to ditch the missiles you won’t use.
The the mig-29 survives because of a good mix of flight performance and missiles but now that the there are planes with better flight performance, you don’t have the performance to back you up if you’re missiles don’t hit.
