Does somebody know which german tanks have spall liners? Seems like the community needs to do the work for gaijin and I don’t want a fire exstinguiser situation again in which planes like the do335 got it way to late.
Besides the later leo 2s I expect the puma and tams to have a spall liner aswell.
I agree but the problem is that Germany is only allowed German vehicles because the game would be unplayable if they get another nations vehicles because something something having a (insert nation here) plane means there is no reason to play (insert major nation here)/s

2A7V seems like a late and rushed development (they probably started working on it after complaints about the last update). We must here thank the German community that is working on the reports to prevent us from receiving a flatulence bag 2.0.
And finally the long-awaited spiked vehicle arrives as an event vehicle.
I hope that the devil’s advocates, detractors of Germany, do not get angry at my words.
Germany still has ton of ground vehicles left especially if you consider gdr tanks but it could really use an air sub tree in the jet age.
Only japan is worse. Britain has at least many rank 5 and 6 vehicles but suffers at top tier aswell
Swiss, Argentine or Spanish i guess?, there are quite some options for sub-trees. Or adding vehicles from other nations that could be sorta-related to germany, like the Indian Marut, the spanish Saeta or the Argentine Pulqui II…among others.
Japan might be better off in air as they can get:

I tested the 2A7V’s armour with a friend today. The UFP is basically inpenetrable apart from the driver’s hatch, darts either bouncing or non-penning. It also has a completely new destructibles model (add-on armour, side skirts, arrowhead, etc…). The HEAT protection seems a bit iffy because MPAT can kill the crew and engine by hitting near the turret ring.
The arrowhead is destroyed after 1-2 hits with HEAT, the beak module can’t be destroyed, the add-on plates on the driver’s side are destroyed after 1-2 hits, the plates on the ammo side can’t be destroyed from what it seems.

F-16AJ is an exception to the rule, and Mig-29G already exists to fill the void of any Su-27.
Gaijin’s official table lists Leopard 2A7V as weaker armoured than the Strv 122 from 1997:

Why not? German as of now has less vehicles that can be added then Japan as Thailand was passed to devs as a subtree.
Why is it that the rules change when Germany needs a vehicle?
Why is it that the F-16AJ was added (even though the Japanese government had 0 interest in it) while GDR Su-27s are just thrown out without a second thought (even though they were in the late stages of procurement)?
Germany also received the MiG-29 and MiG-29G a patch after their Russian counterparts for no reason
Pretty sure it was because “the model wasn’t ready” (iirc the Italian F-16 wasn’t model right either but got added anyway.)

Don’t make excuses for the snail, the 9.12 and 9.13 are exactly the same except for the dorsal avionics hump. If they couldn’t make THAT ready in time for the patch then I don’t know what to say. They just wanted the MiG to be exclusive to Russia.
