Lets talk about the state of Germany

Should be the same BR as clickbait but Gaijin put it higher for some reason

I mean its still got the best round in game and good mobility and turret armour so its not as if its bad mate.
and gen 2 commanders so

Doesnt make that much of a difference

Well, also abrams get a better reload

what doesnt make a difference? it makes a huge difference mate. the 2A5 and 2A6 are in no way shape or form bad tanks at all theyre still great vehicles

yeah but sweden has better 2a5s and even a 2a6 as well.
the penetration increase for germany in neglibable while the swedish round does get more post penetration dmg

That why I said it that 2A5 and A6 should be the same BR as Clickbait it not the same level as A7V

The pen improvement of DM53 compared to other rounds around it BR

we are not saying they are bad.

they are just worse then strv122s, but better like challenger, ariete , merkava aint hard

the Dm53 is best. its the best round in game. compare it to 3BM60, L27A1, better than the chinese round by miles, the isrealie round as well by some margin as well as the french round.

it is a massive improvement over them.

better than the leclercs and IMO abrams as well, but that is debatable as well due to reload and round etc.

arguable realy, penetration is not everything, when u know where to shoot the penetration doesnt matter at all and the post penetration damage of a lot of other rounds is in fact quite a bit better

and again, we were speaking about your question about sweden vs germany and how they relate to the “best” grb line up right now.
the other nations in that moment dont matter

But does it make a difference against where you need to shoot? No, it doesnt

did when i was using the 2a5 can just point n click most times.

True enough, well thanks for the information mate, good thing im doing sweden now

From my experience it’s never a 1-on-1 (sadly), and since the EF has no F&F like the Gripen does, it always has to expose itself to SPAAs of all sorts for long’ish periods of time to really do any damage.

One advantage it has however is the sheer quantity of A2G weapons it can carry and still be a menace in A2A. I run 4xGBU-48 + 6 Brim 1s (on top of 4x120B + 2x9M) and I’ve won dogfights (so far) even against the Rafale.

Yeah - totally agree.

But if we would use the word “real” or “combat capable” and add “entered service” or “mass produced” as requirement for being playable there would be still a hell of undertiered planes in the USSR tree for Air RB - besides those:

  • premium P-39 (in frontline service until end of WW 2 at BR 3.0),
  • the Yak-1B (3.0)
  • Yak-3s at 4.0/4.3.

Fighting the postwar Yak-3U is a real pain below 6.500 meters for any 109 and the infamous Yak-3 VK 107 is (to be fair: very rare to see) even better at higher alt (so 4-6.5 km) than the 3U.

In case somebody wants to support the bug report regarding mine shells:

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/qD8a6ILX6FBo

Just click on “i have the same issue” - it might help to prioritize this for the tech mods. But - seeing that a similar bug report was not processed by gaijin for 8 months i have little hope that they will change their “i ignore it” strategy.

I am actually surprised that so few people are upset about this nerf, i mean either they are not aware of it, or they don’t care about it…

Now that the PzH’s M107 muzzle velocity got fixed, what is the point of the tier 4 155mm OE F3 round? I literally just researched it and now it’s obsolete…

propably gonna get replaced with the L51A1

dont complain about that thing mate, its got a LRF and a 7.5 second reload at 7.7 , it will inevitably go up in BR
