Lets talk about the state of Germany

Leos are still easy the most survivable tanks at the moment.
I guess the new frogfoot had a good impact on russian winrates.

Or do it like i do and just team up with a german playing friend lol.

Remember, pantsir isn’t the best spaa in the game xD

Yes, i am a very bad player bro.

That’s not the game being RNG that’s just your bad aim

Pre-nerf or post-nerf? I haven’t survived that many side shots in my spall lined 2A7V ever since KEP spall buffs & Leo 2 spall nerfs (which happened ± 2 weeks ago). On the other hand, I’ve had T-90Ms eat side shot after side shot yesterday…

It’s not just the russian tanks which eat weird shots sometimes.

As of recent, it is mostly them. For the most part, the T-90M. To a lesser extent, the BVM which doesn’t even have spall liners… (meanwhile 2A6 & SEP quite literally can’t take a shot without dying, the former thanks to some Russian main having bad shot placement & crying about it, the latter cause I dunno).

The Frogfoot had no influence on my win rate. It crashed after Leo supposedly generated too few spalls and the “bug” was fixed. Since then, my Leo A7 has been a oneshot as soon as you hit the gun mantlet. Interestingly, the tank now completely fills with shrapnel as soon as you penetrate its armor. Great.

Sorry but brother that screenshot is from 2023.

That’s been the norm since forever. Leopard 2s are the only MBTs in the game with an additional spall modifier for the mantlet & breech… the only ones. People tried reporting that years back, always either “not a bug” or “works as intended”.

idk how you even manage to avoid the side of the hull and turret and hit the only place where its just tight enough to affect an apfsds by volumetrics, tbh idk what to think about that

You are right :-).

I was completely wrong. However, the win rate numbers matched exactly those that I can read in my account.

also for some reason loader side dosent have a spall liner anymore in the front cheek of the left side

It never had one there ever since the mechanic’s addition, even though it should. On the Leopard 2A7V, they added a spall plate to the left cheek. I don’t remember if it’s been reported though.

After the nerf. And i am really not trying to spread bullshit here, but i also had it on moving leos where an outer plate just ate everything and i didn’t do anything to him. Although thats probably because of the nice volumetric damage system we have.
And i agree the same bullshit happens to russian tanks sometimes.

Abrams die easy, i agree.
When i play britain i struggle way less with russian tanks than leos. At least russian tanks die 1 shot to lfp most of the time.

I am not sure what you mean, can you reword ?

so basically, between the whole side how did you manage to hit exactly this point? wich btw its the point most affected by volumetrics because of how tight it is

This is definitely the work of volumetric + spall liners with a healthy dose of server desync then. IIRC the game calculates the hits on the server’s side rather than client’s side, and there’s a delay between the two. As such, moving vehicles are more likely to cause problems… issues that I had stationary T-90Ms take the most hogwash of shots and come out unscathed, just to One Hit Kill me via the gun mantlet.

Funnily… Leopard 2s blowout panels no longer work. I’ve died to ammunition explosions that originated in my turret stowage, despite the fact my blastdoor was never penetrated…

Not sure if this is also caused by server - client desync, or if we’ve got a “”“bug”“” on our hands.

No no, i don’t shoot turret rings from the side, only front.
From the side i try to aim on the hull aprox. under the iron cross or a little more in the front.

SOMETIMES??? It’s more often then not dude

Fixed
