i know that gajin promised italy an ariete that has both the PSO kit and the WAR kit, i am not saying it will be good or an leop equivalent, but it is what is left for italy

I have no clue why people keep saying this to be honest. The tanks Hungary got are technically 2A7+'s but they are very different from the original 2A7+/PSO-VT. The 2A7HU is more similar to the 2A7V.

I don’t think 2A7+ are coming soon, especially because the Hungarian one was only shown like two months ago.
That versions could be added.

I Agree. I think with the addition of the Kf Germany is falling a bit behind in the lightweight race.
So maybe we will see in italy tree 2a8 and kf-51 because of Hungary:)
are they? honestly i dont quite know, 2a7+ was just the describtion for all possible leopard modifications currently. I just find it funny that in a recent internview from the KMW director it was said that the 2A7HU lacks the ability to programm DM11 ammunition and those as a result the 2A7V is “better” then the HU. My take on it, is preference do you want a lighter tank with programmable ammo and better mobility. Or a slightly more armored Leopard with the side HE protection of the PSO and roof armor + remote weapon station (which i honestly love and is great against helis)

Yeah, that’s probably going to happen unfortunately.
Sweden may have plss + and strv 123
The 2A7V can mount the side armour as well, that was one of the key features of the 2A7.
plss+ just has the side armor kits as well. and the strv123 is just a 2a7, while we are getting the 2a8
we know gajin, the standard 2A7V is shown without those kits, so we wont get it just like the armor kit for the PSO, at least i didnt find a picture of the 2A7V with the armor kit

Gameplay wise, is there much of a difference between a 2A7V/+ and a 2A8 (besides APS)?
dont think so, APS will be the main factor, might receive RWR, remote weapon station , and better ammunition but the basics stays the same

It would be pretty hilarious if a 2A7 got added without the side armour, when the mountings are so easy to spot.
