plss+ just has the side armor kits as well. and the strv123 is just a 2a7, while we are getting the 2a8
we know gajin, the standard 2A7V is shown without those kits, so we wont get it just like the armor kit for the PSO, at least i didnt find a picture of the 2A7V with the armor kit

Gameplay wise, is there much of a difference between a 2A7V/+ and a 2A8 (besides APS)?
dont think so, APS will be the main factor, might receive RWR, remote weapon station , and better ammunition but the basics stays the same

It would be pretty hilarious if a 2A7 got added without the side armour, when the mountings are so easy to spot.

i would argue the mounts are pretty easy to spot on the PSO as well for the armor beak upgrade

2a7v doesnt have them, for whatever reason germany didnt want them yet. But the current situation with drones shows hoe necesary they are , and will propably be included in the 2a8
Mine too. Sweden has for almost three years a modern and more armored version of the Leopard than Germany which planned/prototyped produced and sell this tank. That’s what I do not understand. Why didn’t they give Germany a 1:1 PLSS when the PLSS arrived? So hard?. And that´s why now I want to have a better Leopard than Sweden

2а8 have a demonstrator already, so it haven’t that, but soon expect to do it
thats not a demonstrator, they just put the 2A7A1 there to “demonstrate” it, because it shows the main feature the APS system, the specifics of the 2a8 are still getting planned

At the time of the 2A7V upgarde, an RWS was regarded as “not technologically mature and ready” despite what the industry claimed.

my stupid ass just noticed that RWS did stand for remote weapon station and not for radar warning system. why the hell did i have that in my mind the whole time jesus, besides that i am still suprised leopards didnt get LWS yet

Yes, but let’s imagine that the t80bvm 2023 is used by other nation whos not Russia, for example Italy (please, it is an example, do not argue about this) and Gaijin, instead of adding the T80bvm 2023 to Russia, adds it to Italy. How would you feel? How would people who like this vehicle as much as we like the leopard feel?
And yes I know the 122 is a ““made/produced”” swedish vehicle ““made”” by Sweden but the thing is Germany have some 1:1 Leopards to “counter” the 122. But as I said before this is an EXAMPLE
