Just adding a proper matchmaking or capabilities to join in rooms in ground simulator battles would be a great addition for this gamemode, it’s the only thing that makes me to not play said gamemode because the line-ups isn’t very attractive.

Exactly. I figure those who confuse this game with an FPS might be driven away, but that’s a sacrifice I’d be willing to make.

should add a point to reduce max Uptier fro, 1.0 to .7

Actually pls just fix the br no uptier or down tier let the queue time increase I don’t want 13.0 in 12.0 literally you cannot do anything except die

Included in point 9:

Introduce two toggles in RB settings:
Toggle 1:Play at your BR guaranteed but higher queue times might occur”,
Toggle 2:Play at the full ±1.3 BR range, get battles quicker

If you’d play a 9.3 tank you’d only be matched against other players searching for a 9.3 battle. Queue times would slightly increase, fairness would increase as well.

Nah nah it’s more than that . It should be fixed or there should be a option for player to only join there own fixed br give it as option

I get this sentiment but there was some really stupid spots that are easy to abuse.

( I am mad they took my 38th parallel scout spot. it was exposed and not too ratty yet it still got removed. I’m talking instant spawn sniper spots.)

tank SP needs to be a lot cheaper so that there’s more people to stay in the fight (plus more fodder for the 5 people on each team that are actually contributing)

Create a better incentive to stay in a match, and increase ticket count overall.

That’s too OP IMO, and the current scout drone mechanic is fine.

No perks outside of cosmetic stuff and SL/GE rewards should be in the level system, but I do think it should be expanded. The game already tracks your level beyond 100, so it will be easy to add too.

Option 1 would massively increase queue times and be overall worse and harder to balance. Decompression is a better solution.

I like having some variety in what I face, so I disagree.

There is an active suggestion about adding spawn zones along the edges of the maps, so go support that. Ground Battles - Dynamic Spawn Zone

I have seen lots of long opinion threads with a few things wrong, but this one is completely disappointing. There is a kernel of logic whereas the rest 95% is illogical. I initially was going to critique your points one-by-one, but halfway through, I realized it would take more than an hour to describe everything wrong with this post, and was therefore unworthy of consideration.

This reads more like a rant about the game rather than a well thought out suggestion. You write using absolutes and dramatic words, and fail to consider even the simplest problems with your ideas. Queue times? Balance? Apparently they aren’t concepts in your mind at all. Your post is also full of contradictions. Such as a call for “De-Call-of-Dutyfication” but shortly after suggest removing scout drones and addition of a ridiculous “satellite overfly” which “reveals enemies on the map for 1 minute” (Under “player interaction”, no less).
You also make basic errors and wild estimations without evidence, such as “average of 6 minutes” at 10-12 BR, or your mention of a “full ±1.3 BR range” (which is the case in AB, NOT in RB where it is ±1.0).

Despite Gaijin’s often terrible decisions, they often appear as geniuses in comparison to the stupid ideas of some players.

And a bit of my own view:

Protections are needed, some sniper rocks are indeed too powerful. We need a whole set of designed BIGGER maps, though this can be a good first approach.

I would not support making CAS too rare, nor too powerful. They would better be frequently seen to encourage people to spawn SPAA ( Or have dedicated AA players and let them always have smth to do). Mw if CAS is powerful, we are likely to continue on the winner wins more situation, which is not healthy for balancing. Weaker but cheap will make them common enough for tactics (and teamplay) and CAP to have a use

Though how to make CAS weaker but CAP more useful is hard. Indeed.
Maybe CAP can be even cheaper xD idk

Initially wasn’t going to respond either to this. I made a list of changes I’d support. Don’t know what else you expected, maybe a doctor’s thesis? Other than that Ryo-san, sometimes you have to be daring and introduce changes to something that has been stale for a decade, and just see what happens, balance stuff out on the go while players provide feedback (of course that means Gaijin would have to actively listen…).
Your comment reads like “don’t change any tiny detail as long as it hasn’t been discussed for half a year at round tables, leading industry experts haven’t given their go and Satoru Iwata himself didn’t give his go either”.

I’m just a player. I can have my creative moments, too, and I say: Let’s roll with it.
