in real life the AN/ALE-40 flare pod has the option to either equip 30 regular caliber flares or 15 high caliber flares.
we should be able to decide which variant of the pod we want to equip on our plane, that way we can decide if we either want more pops, or better flares

Does the flares come in 1x1 sizes as well, or only 1x2? I think ive only seen sources for chaff in 1x1 size
i had seen a few pictures of the 1x1 filled with flare charges, sadly i cannot find them as most of the results are now either dcs related,wt forums related or that crappy off brand roblox war thunder
Yes. Flares do come in the 118 format
