Not likely, unfortunately a lot of them are in general.
It’s pretty likely actually. Just look at US manuals, all their power ratings are lower than that in game simply because Gaijin uses gross specified in another US source.

Appears ive worded what i meant like a complete moron.
I mean it as, its not likely, its a certainty that most stuff was underpowered but was busy when i wrote that, apologies.
But i did not know that even a lot of the US vehicles are in the same boat.
Tbh i wish we had a full update just for cold war stuff, both focused on stuff thars missing for example chieftain mk11, for USA T95 series mbts etc etc and patching the stuff we do have.

Is it a full uptier? I just leave.
The lack of LRF when facing 9.7 is just… braindead and stupid.
So, I don’t suffer any more. I just leave.
The mk5 and 3 are same damn br, it still performs well in a 9.7 game, play more passively.

Fed up with trying to pixel hunt on longe range maps, while they can just press R and get a perfect hit.
Thats a pathetic excuse because 1 the chieftain is still mega accurate in game at good ranges, 2 has good enough armour at massive ranges that it doesn’t just explode and 3 had a pretty good apds shell that only really struggles on t72As and T64s.
Again leaving the game like that is incredibly detrimental to your team mates.
Why bother even playing at all?
Edit : so you cant use the cheiftain in an uptier. What about all the 7.7s that see the chieftain and can barely touch it, its swings and roundabouts.
You dont need to be in a full downtier to do well, a full.uptier only sees max 4 x 9.7
Just crew the MK10 and MK3/5 as backup, the MK10 is the best Chieftain out there currently with lrf, better turret armor and better ammunition, 100% direct upgrade to the MK5 and also getting better matchmaking with more downtier than 8.7, the downside is it is a forever alone now after MTTD got moved up when nobody asked, but doesn’t matter since your 8.7 will be mostly seeing the same enemies your MK10 sees anyway, like the guy above said, play more passively, I would say you bring more smoke shells along to mask the camping spot you are heading to, you will get there safely eventually.

I actually have been using the 9.3 lineup with the mk10 as a first spawn n then oli mk2, it doesnt see uptiers as much as before due to the br changes.
But yeah 8.7 is my goto fun spot for britain tbh even in an uptier the chieftains slap
100bhp for the mk 10 would make my day, gotten half my nukes with the damn thing and all its missing is acceleration. The mk5 and mk3 are okay, but considering the t55am is considered the same br as it is a little silly, the mk 5 should get its lrf and then maybe the dart if its too powerfull for 8.7. The mk10 should get its l23a1 as im pretty sure l23 never existed. Other than that i love em to pieces, they are great all rounders and their gun handling is to die for (shame gaijin kinda forgets that when it comes to my chally 2).

doesnt need a dart, needs its historical L15A5 but which was a tungten cored APDS rather than cobalt carbide or whatever it was
yup its just L23A1, the L23 strandard is the A1 round its just how british designations work when they go into service I believe.

Yeah the mk5 needs its historically accurate L15A5 and LRF, while the mk10 and khalid and all the cr1s that use L23 need to have it removed.due to being non existent

Also never had an actual gun fitted to it and the aiming system was interesting at best.
Pfft, small details. If the enemy sees that coming they’ll be laughing so hard they’ll die, so it doesn’t need a gun.

Pah - the REAL question is if it had a functioning BV. Everything else can be worked around.

Have you never heard of chimera? Its this but on steroids, A chieftain TD with several hundred mm of chobum on the front and sides with a 1000hp engine. Shame really, as i think it was purely a paper tank other than maybe a model or two.
