I agree. It looks silly when a whole plane just disappears in mid-air.
Its just them being extremely lazy to add an end-state to destroyed aircraft, even helicopters does this. I occasionally run some ground assault mode, when you J out of an aircraft mid air or the timer runs out, instead of assigning an AI to take control over to flown it out of the map, it stays on your last throttle position and then slowly nose dive and crash to the ground, be it planes or helicopters, for a game that claims it tried to be as realistic as possible, this is embarrasing and disgusting lol
