Leopard2s in top tir too weak

I don’t have any comment on the performance of the Leopards as i haven’t played them myself.

But the report you sent in and had gotten an answer to isn’t created correctly which is why you got that answer. The in-game protection analysis isn’t completely correct and cannot be used for reports of this kind due to the variability of the analysis. The protection analysis is used to give you a general idea, not exact data.

The Technical Moderators and Developers still need the files requested to be able to investigate where the issue stems from, if it’s a bug with the armor, a bug with the angle calculations, a bug with the ammunition, a bug with material modifiers, etc, etc. It would be close to impossible or take way to long to investigate an issue without the correct files. You have to be able to show that this issue happens in matches as well due to how inaccurate the protection analysis can be.

The data I’m referring to is not the winning rate, but the K/D ratio. Whether it’s the K/D ratio or the winning rate, the Merkava 4 is much superior to the Leopard 2.

Although there are indeed reasons why new players might not choose to play in Israel, the K/D ratio of the Leopard 2 series is at the bottom.

Thank you for your explanation. However, in other similar issues, only in-game protection analysis was used, and they were acknowledge.

CAS also heavily influenced the KD of ground vehicles, playing against the ru at top tier meaning your leopards is going to die a lot more often due to CAS spam, ground vs ground ru vehicles are mid when compare to NATO’s because mobility is king, one could avoid taking hits if they could drive away quickly before the enemies could fire the next shot.

The Merkava IV and M1s also have to deal with Russian aircraft. The air defense systems of Israel and the United States are even weaker than those of Germany, but their tanks K/D ratio is higher.

Do you have any examples? I’ve personally never seen that happen.

examples: Leopard 2A7HU UFP discrepancy with Leopard 2A7V UFP // Gaijin.net // Issues

It’s really telling how the inferior T-80BVM is having superior players overall according to Statshark.

Statshark match data at the end of the day is a skill metric.
You can extrapolate some things.

The fact that T-80BVM and 2A7V are within 100 RP of each other, and 400 SL of each other says more than the win rates that are reliant on 15 other team mates, and KRs which are reliant on enemy teams going to places you predict as a player.

almost thought this was a TIGER_TANK_1 post for a second…

Good to know :)

If you have any questions about any specific report (and it’s answer) or how to report bugs then you can send a private message to one of the Technical Moderators. You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one of the moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.

Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve added all the regular moderators with no answer then you can add the seniors.

Do you think a group of 213,458,700 people is stronger than a group of 10,910,120 people?
The number of player samples has reached millions. In this case, discussing the player level would be suspect due to potential bias.

Thanks

Those aren’t people, those are matches.
And if you have something against Statshark, don’t use their website.

Statshark is a skill website, not a website that can be used to determine what ground vehicles are more powerful than others.

You shouldn’t confuse the facts in this way.Matches is player make it

I’ve read a lot the replies and it’s clear a lot of them were made either by soviet mains or are placed on the left end of the IQ curve. Stock 2A7V is garbage. Slow AF (BVM stock is much more mobile for a stock tank), DM33 at 12.7 just sucks, more and bigger vulnerabilities. Not shooting the perfect tiny spot on the BVM breech? Unlucky son. Just take this 3BM60 that clips your gun, pens the breech area and together with spall from the gun clipping kills your entire turret crew. Happened to me at least twice. Some players try to counter with “but but but 6 seconds”. Really? You mean that ace crew reload? With a healthy and whole crew? You need 1 million sl and a looooot of RP for a 6s reload. You lose your commander? Congrats, you’ll be outreloaded by the BVM.

LMAO. Gaijin trying to censor me for saying it how it is. Just LMAO.

The thing is top tier is kinda uncompressed rn seeing that just for around 30mm of pen you go up .4 in br (2a5 and 2a6) and the thing is the m1a1 hc, m1a2, m1a1 aim, should realistically be 12.3 as m1a2 to m1a2 sep the difference just isn’t noticeable and if you want to know a tank that shouldnt be toptier that would be the vt4a1 for gods stake the 99’s are better. the Leopard 2 is brought down by how many people start playing germany as there first nation. For example look at the 2A6 in France Sweden and Germany. Someone said the stats are better on the BVM but thats just because is more forgiving. I would much rather be driving in a 2a6 then bvm but i will say the leopards 2 should get a reload buff to like 5.5 seconds.

Yes, I think all the C-armor tech Leopard 2s should be at 12.3, and then add one D-armor tech Leopard 2 at 12.7.

This is one of the very few times that I can confidently say, it’s the players not the tanks.

No, you can’t attribute this to a player issue. I have developed 8 countries to the top tir, and I have a lot of experience in top tir battles.
