Its still a different round. Dm63 was the base for dm73 if the base was 53 then yea it would be 53 with new propellent (basically what it is anyway)

Because imo it’s one of the coolest leopards that exist and the fact it was used for quite a few programs and demonstrators definitely leans towards it. I believe it belongs in the game along with the other German demonstrators like the TVM series the 2a7+ and the like 500 2a4 modernizations and tech demos my favorite is personally the ATD and revolution but the 2a4 (was technically a 2AV) awiss is also really cool
Meh I just use my gen 3 eyeballs but the 2 tanks but both the 2a7+ and 2a7a1 have gen 3 iirc 2a6EX unfortunately only had gen 1 but I think personally mexas and the 1630hp engine would make up for it

There I have it, a full Strv 122 lineup, rotting because the 1st gens displease me, even now that they’ve got DM53 while retaining the best armor and survivability in the game.
Even if they add it, it will be balanced out. War Thunders on its last legs with top tier. Primary focus is shifting to infantry.
Apart from that Italy has an insanely good leo but gajin does things like this to encourage grinding across multiple trees.

Yes? That’s the point lol. The US and Russia currently have very powerful top tier lineups while Germany and a lot of others are lacking.
You’re just going to get similar copy and paste. The only difference is some veterans will go play germany for a while then the win rate will drop later. They can add it but it won’t make a difference for the average player.
They add better variants based on the grind. If they add 2A8 it’s not going to do much if there’s better variants in other trees. Gives it to Germany but people will say why grind it when other trees have better versions? I say add it but top tier is still going to where the veterans decide to play at the end of the day.
There’s no nation with a better version then the German 2a8.

And? Its still an improvement over what the lineup already has and more importantly its a second uparmored Leopard 2 for the German tree next to the 2A7V. Being able to respawn with something better than a 2A6 absolutely matters even for the average player. And its not clear with what capabilities Gaijin would add the 2A8. A new shell would be a decent buff over what we have now.
