It loses a considerable amount of mobility and smoke grenades for a mid APS. At least the SEPv3 gets improved armor for the same weight.
So yes, the M1A2 trophy is a worse tank than the SEPv3 and the German APS tank should be worse than the 2A7V.

@_Renzo generaly, with the strv122 getting DM53, germany now has no real speciality left, its the worse leo line up , it getting some better leos its sth it deserves, even if sweden ends up getting the same with 2a8, with 2-3 mbts taking into battle it becomes at least more equal

Like I said in the R&R thread to some Leo 2 copers, that is why you give Germany some 2A7V sidegrades to beef up their lineup, like the 2A6EX or 2A7+.

Read my original reply. I clearly stated that all APS vehicles are worse than the flagship MBTs of their respective nations, not worse than their no APS counterparts.
i wouldnt realy say they are flagship mbts, they are used equaly in their nations, well besides vt 4 which is an export, but only other nations can get their exports obviously

You already saw how they treated the sepv3, theyre just gonna make the 2a8 identical to the 2a7 but with trophy. Internal armor upgrades mean nothing to them unless its russian
