What Germany, or overall NATO, needs also isn’t new MBTs but better SPAA/CAS. That is also why Russia dominates - Russias Tanks suck crap. Its their CAS/SPAA carrying hard.

Do you even know what DM73 is? I think you are confusing it with DM83.
DM73 is DM63 with better propellant. So its insensitive and slightly higher penetration its not that much better then what we currently have

all 2 lack the crucial frontal armor add on.
To be fair 1 tank to germany wont shift the meta in that regard, it will just make germanys line up a bit more solid again. As it stands now its leoaprd line up is worse then sweden, which is a shame

The Black Night, M1A2 trophy, T-90M arena and VT-4A1 are all worse than the flagship models of their respective nations as a tradeoff for getting APS, so why should Germany be different?
What’s the trade off off for arena or trophy on the sep V2? To me there’s no tradeoff for the APS system at all

I said flagship of their respective nation. Imo the BVM is still the flagship Russian top tier MBT.
It’s a SEPv2 without any of the advantages that the normal SEPv2 had over the SEPv3. So at best you can call the M1A2 trophy a sidegrade to the SEPv3, however there is a really solid argument to call it a downgrade to the SEPv3.
Again, the SEPv3 is now the flagship MBT of the US tree.
Plus china can get their ztz99 with APS idk what they call it
