But they did… by limiting APDS belt only to one… And gave wrong APDS to HE (that should be AP actually) ratio (at least for 2A72, not sure about 2A42).

Basically everything is either too small, or at the wrong angle, or sits too close to other components for it to work. Not even the beak itself was spared, it currently extends too little upwards, and the model of it is too small (in real life the lights are the same size, but on the 2A7V they’re too small cus the add-on itself is too small).
Best part is, I found a video of a plastic 1:35 2A7V model… and that was better than Gaijin’s.
@Smin1080p Since I cannot really report any of these, mind forwarding this information to the devs (in case nobody else reports those issue before my temp-ban from the report website is over) for review? Re-modelling all of those components to correct sizes & angles would fix some of the issues the Leopard 2A7V currently deals with.

How incompetent Gaijin to the point that can’t even copy paste Strv122 to 2A7V and be done with it or they being silly that they don’t want to
Gaijin did not copy and paste, Gaijin referred to the Swedish armor test report at the time as a benchmark to redo the armor of the Leopard 2A7V. It was deliberately weakened.
Maybe gaijin copied strv122’s armor when the test server first started.(purple Leopard2A7V)

There will be no model update because it’s absolutely not worth their time and resources.
Look at the Fw 190 D, it’s from Wings of Prey and still has the same old model in game.

Even according the Swedish trials that the turret is massively underperforming and since they based the hull armor on the turret protection, both are.
They apparently just cherrypicked data from that and rejected all other sources.

Correct, saw it too late, but the nerf is still real (went from ~300mm KE - > 200mm KE).
Nothing has been datamined in recent memory though so this must of happened long ago

If they ever convert the Leos to volumetric like the Chally and T series, the 2A7V is gonna be at a massive disadvantage against autocannons especially because of this
and people want Italy 2A7HU? when Gaijin are incapable of correcting 2A7V lol

I don’t mind if Italy have them as Hungary sub tree tbh but they need to correct one not give this mass of leopard
Watch them add a better modelled Leopard 2A7 to Italy and dont fix/nerf the German one LOL

I’m pretty sure that’s basically guaranteed to happen at this point. I’d be more surprised if they didn’t add a fixed version only to Italy whilst leaving it broken for Germany.
2A7HU will be better than 2A7V anyways cuz germany never buys the bells and whistles
I agree to make the Leopard 2A7 similar to the STRV 122B+. This way, we could just shoot at the lower plate of Leos and make them return to the hangar with a hit kill… They still say that the Strv 122B+ is overpowered; these Germany mains have the perfect tank and still complain…
