Same issue with the TES and OES Western ERA/NERA needs to be corrected as in their CE protection increased

He is from brazil obviously cuz of the language, appart from that his expectance is that hitting a tank anywhere means insta shot i’ve shot mbts on the lower part of the hull from a side angle and never get a kill with that and less by hitting the fuel tanks closer to the engine, he hit exactly every spot he shouldn’t have hit in the first place, he really is your average “point and click i can’t, something wrong must be”

Yeah because that also fits what seems to be the role that Gaijin wants the CR2 to be, this CE bunker with a good ROF.

Honestly the CR2s need their ERA values corrected and the SEPv2 needs to be able to take it off. I don’t care if they correct the SEPv2 ERA, equipping it on an Abrams is actively kneecapping the tank.

Too right well i hope they mention it in this blog thats supposed to come

Thanks for the flags! I love collecting them.

It for the most part is. This graph excludes both M1A1 AIM & Click-Bait (only 11.7 vehicles were compiled), but the average W/L R is still well below 50%, so are K/D and avg kills. Sweden & Germany performing well is to be expected, but the 2A7V did made a significant difference in the WRs of Germany (~62% just 2 weeks before this patch went live, so a ~4% increase for a vehicle that is supposedly “OP” as many say).

Much less capable nations, with less capable vehicles perform much better in all departments than US (France, GB & China). It’s not like these nations are only played by OTPs with 5000 matches in each Leclerc/Chally 2 variant, they’re for the most part about as good as your average Russian/German players… so why are they doing this good in comparison?

Simple, most of them probably did not buy their way into top tier, and are more experienced.

things around the UFP or turret ring to make it more comparable to the 2A7V

So you’re saying;

  • keep the turret ring just as bad
  • make the upper plate weaker than it is on the previous, older variants

(the turret of the 2A7V is actually worse than on the 2A5 btw, so the only real improvements it brought are the middle stip of the hull that 99% of people aim for… and 3rd gen thermals).

Thing is also that the LFP armor won’t fix the issues and won’t suddenly make it on par with the 2A7V and all 122s.

You, my guy, have an IQ of 220. Finally someone understood that it won’t magically fix the horrible performance of US players.

Fact is, Abrams isn’t as suited for WT as Leopard 2s (hard to swallow for some, I know), areas like the turret ring matter little in real life (because they are unlikely to be striked), or how the LFP is for the most part ignored on most vehicles… again, because it is very unlikely to be striked.

The biggest buff Abrams could get right now? Making it so you have to aim centre mass due to FCS forcing you, then M1 would probably suit WT just as much as a Leopard 2.

Gonna make a bingo card for it. “Out experts” ‘We believe" "We assume’… Etc

This, and make it so I can take off TUSK II. I don’t want to drag around 4 tons of extra weight that is useless anyway.

240 games in the SEPv1 and TUSK I saved me extactly 1 time. 163 games in the SEPv2 and TUSK hasn’t saved me at all.

Now being 4 tons lighter and not having multiple skyscraper sized antennas on the back of my turret would be super helpful. Your first priority in the Abrams should be to not get hit anyways, at all cost.

Yes, but also I dunno if that’s something wanted. FCS forcing you to fire centremass 100% would also massively buff Soviet/Russian vehicles unless Gaijin were to actually properly model anti-ERA functions of all the rounds that had such.

It would also make some vehicles less armoured per se (Leclerc/Type 10) because you’re then forces to fire at their weakest points etc.

i would be just happy to get FCS for Puma and AHEAD TT

4 tonnes lighter + f.e quieter engine, less shrapnel inside the tank, fixed fuel tank bulk heads(thicker UFP), turret ring repaired so any BMP and SPAA can F off and M829A3 with at least good implementation( raw pen instead of anti era tip or anti era tip with m829a2 raw pen) and I can forget about thicker LFP on Abrams. It would make it almost on par with Leo 2 A6 with better mobility and agility and reload speed but with less turret armour.

By the way the 2A7V has a literal hole in the turret if the gun is fully elevated, you can look into the crew compartment.

Wonder how much armour is presented where is this hole is

On the 2A5 is their a hole in the left cheeck somewhere as i shot right though it with i can’t recall the name but the first APFSDS you get on the T80um2 or T80UK

Not error comrade, it is simply a window for the crew to let some fresh air in :)

ah so in case to get fresh air in they lift the gun up ? XD
is that the same reason that sometimes ru tanks decide to throw the turret out ?
:D

I hope that fixes at least some of the armor holes and ricochet problems

Any 2A7 have add on roof armour. I’ve come across from playing Britain with its CR2 having spaced roof armour I never die to arty. But god damn in leopards the roof is so week when arty is called on me I have to move because it kills me everytime

2A7V has no roof armor, thats only 1 version of the Strv122s
