the more engery we spend with this, the more we get disappointed.
i have given up. talking to brickwall seems more informative than expecting a straight answer from gaijin…

OP tanks deserve a nerf; I shot at the side of a Leopard’s turret, hit both crew members, and the guy still managed to swiftly move the turret and hit-kill me with his APFDS that went through my Merkava 4 like it was paper.
What’s the need to bring these overpowered things into War Thunder and ruin everything else? They require sources for everything, but can’t seem to keep Challengers and Merkavas in the meta. All these Leopard’s armor improvements come out of nowhere; they only know how to make two nations strong and leave everything else worthless!

Model it poorly and honestly so badly (armor wise) even when you show them that document X says it should have over 9000mm protection gaijin does not care, because somehow they document is different even tho its the same lul

This video is not mine, but it already proves everything: a ridiculous and extremely powerful tank, with overpowered armor, effective APFDS ammunition, and now overpowered spall liners.
0:58 you see he hits under the turret and the spall liner and depending where the turret is aimed he just shot just right true the crew members without hitting anyone

Tank is too overpowered, needs a nerf; not even the T90M can survive it, no matter where the shot hits.
Extremely powerful? You live with 3 extremely powerful Swedish tanks with spall liners and smaller penetration, but you will say the germany 1 (poorly modeled than Sweden) tank will be op? You hear yourself?

Having played 10.7-11.7 with 5-6 different nations (after the update) it’s not just a skill issue, as German and Russian teams are starting to show similar things. It’s a combination of skill issue and the Abrams just not being a very forgiving tank, as anyone with 2 braincells can reliably 1-2 shot it. Stomp them hard enough and they won’t even be able to spawn their CAS.
German teams seem to have skill issue as well to a slightly lesser extend, but are getting carried by good multi nation players and the 2A7V being easily top 2-3 MBT.
Russian teams are just something else too, but their armor means that mistakes aren’t punished as hard as other nations.
Sweden is…well Sweden. Best ground nation by far with a lot of experienced players be auss of that.

Only saving grace for germany right now is we dont have a “premium” 11.3 (yes we got the leotard 2pl, but usa has the AIM and the clickbait)

German players wanted a leopard with armor for years and after being stuck 2 or 3 years with 2a6 as best tank people played sweden, you get a better version of german leopards + the norway? 2a6…

I don’t get all the complaining about the Abrams it just worse then Leopard in protection but still a decent tank
Protection and survivability. It has a giant off buton that you always have to expose when you want to shoot something, aka turret ring.
It’s still a very nice tank, but the average player just can’t handle a tank mostly made of cardboard with meh survivability. This is one of the reasons that people don’t play the Arietes and Merkavas, besides them just being bad tanks ofcourse.
Thing is also that the LFP armor won’t fix the issues and won’t suddenly make it on par with the 2A7V and all 122s. Gaijin would need to fix things around the UFP or turret ring to make it more comparable to the 2A7V or go the firepower route with M829A3.
Problem is Gaijin seems to have no clue what direction they want to go with the Abrams.
Initially they seemed to want to go the sneaky flanky mobile wood cannon direction with the Abrams from what I could tell, which is fine. This feeling was further reinforced when they buffed the reload.
But then they make it so that the new SEPv2 is forced to use this absolutely useless dead weight ERA package. Hampering it’s mobility due to the weight and ruining any ability to be stealthy because it’s now twice as tall (due to useless antennas).
Like at least make up your god damn mind Gaijoob.
