Leopard 2A4 needs to get puted at 10.3 since it performs absolutely bad at 10.7 and if you get uptiered you got no chance to do anything arguments for bringing it down are the firepower its just mid Thermals are bad too the armor is also nothing than paper so at 10.3 it would perform better

we dont need 10.3
we need a modification for the 8th batch armour mix and maybe DM33 along with it.
id say keep it at 10.7 or even 11.0 after these changes
You do realise the leopard 2A4 is the best 10.7 in game right? followed closely by the M1 and the T80B both tied for second place.
I personally prefer the M1 over the 80B others prefer the 80B over the M1, now with the 6 second reload it’s a strong contender for 2nd place.
But the overall top dog MBT at 10.7 is definitely the 2A4

Standalone tank if possible pls.
I want to enjoy MBT gameplay from time to time without having to deal with some of the CAS options lurking at higher BRs.
If it got said changes AKA a better round, it would definitely go to 11.0 at least the only thing which holds it back are thermal imager quality as well as the round, make what you say an 11.0 gap bridger.

I mean 11.0- 11.7 has been good to me recently man, 10.7 I’ve been using the Glynx quite a bit as I wondered how Heli gameplay at those BRs was, it’s pretty decent, not obscenely strong to the point you’re untouchable but not a waste of spawn points.

germany would get a viable 11.0 lineup with a 11.0 leo2a4, a 10.7 2a4, 11.0 su-22m4, puma vjtf and some others
id even go so far as to say we should get the 2a4 MUSS demonstrator at 11.0
I mean it would be better than jumping from 10.7 to 12.7 it’s one hell of a jump, one I reckon is why Germanies win rate drops off a cliff that and the addition of the leopard 2Pl years ago.
If you put a standalone upgraded 2A4 in with the DM33 and 8Th batch armour mix then yeah it would be a snazzy little lineup.
We could also see this at 11.3 for example with DM43 but I reckon it would end up at at least 12.0 or so
or they could model the addon armour as they did with say, chieftain 900 and slam it at 11.0 as wellx D

Suffice to say, it’s doing fine. It’s quite literally the best 10.7 MBT after all…
Why would the best MBT at 10.7 be improved massively and then stay 10.7? You mention it could go to 11.0 but that is obvious when you’re already buffing the best 10.7? It would be higher than 11.0 anyway.

The Leopard 2A4 is fine for 10.7, in fact, it’s among the best at that battle rating.
Every vehicle suffers when fully uptiered, this is not exclusive to the Leopard 2A4.
In fact, the Leopard 2A4 handles uptiers pretty well given it’s incredible mobility and decent enough APFSDS.
Mid = average.
What’s wrong with being average for the battle rating? Isn’t that the very definition of it being balanced?
So let’s take a quick look at the various 10.7 main battle tanks across various nations, shall we?
- Leopard 2A4: 1st generation thermal sights.
- M1 Abrams: 1st generation thermal sights.
- Challenger Mk.3: 1st generation thermal sights.
- T-80B: 1st generation thermal sights.
- T-80UD: No thermal sights.
- Vickers Mk.7: 1st generation thermal sights.
- Ariete (P): 1st generation thermal sights.
- Strv 121: 1st generation thermal sights.
Nearly all 10.7’s have poor armour protection, again, that only proves the Leopard 2A4 is at it’s correct battle rating.
Anyone here know how much better the 2A4 is compared to 2AV?
The Leclercs should not be at 12.7 because they’re absolute garbage. Put them all at 12.0
