Why is the Leopard 2A4 being moved from BR 10.7 to 11.0? What makes it so special to warrant such a change? It lacks many of the advantages that its competitors possess: its shell penetration is only 400mm, it has no meaningful armor, its thermal optics are mediocre, and its reload time is 6 seconds. Meanwhile, other tanks at the same BR offer significant advantages—for instance, Russian tanks have shells with 570mm of penetration and excellent armor, while American tanks feature superior mobility, a 5-second reload, and strong turret armor. Given this, why is the Leopard placed at the same BR as these vehicles? It should be noted that this tank is considered the main battle tank for players using Germany, Italy, France, and Sweden at BR 10.7 it should be 10.3 or even 10.0

It was decent at 10.7 previously, and will still be decent at 11.0.
Its more pen than the m774… and all it’s peers went up to 11.0 with it AND everything that bullied it got moved up too.
Aside from the bmpt. That cancer was left close to its food AND moved away from the APS carriers that used to trouble it.
10.3 or 10.0 is an insane take.
M774 can pen the Leo just fine.

The Leo’s were some of the best 10.7’s in the game, and with decompression raising the BR cap, 10.7 is now 11.0. So very little has changed in practice, faces the same enemies, still as great tanks as always, it just can’t see 9.7s now
You’re underrating it in all departments. It was the 1st or 2nd best 10.7 prepatch. Of COURSE it goes up.
Used to be 10.3 but things are way different back then lol might need to take look at leopard 2av, I don’t have it but feels like they are pretty close

Mine is also slowly going into the shitter as it actually counts all the matches I didn’t spawn in lol some metrics are starting turn from orange to red then now black colored. Only saving grace is vehicles that I actively played still maintain ok-ish colors

Even then I dont think youd suggest 2A4 to be moved to 10.0 outside of some shitpost.
I do think several things needs to moved up if 2A4 is moved to 11.0, t-72 turms t to 10.7 and moderna to 11.0, those things has vision cheats compare to 2A4, M1 and T-80B.
The T-90A not going back up at this point is a bit of a head scratcher, it went down cuz it was introduced with the L2A6 at the same BR and got curb stomped… the L2A6 is now 2 full BRs higher then it… I think it can start going back up now.
T-90A has been mid for most of its life, I can understand why it didn’t move up
Sure, you can pen the leo with it. And yeah you’ll sometimes bounce a badly placed shot.
Leo is slightly slower for a better upper plate and better round.
Leo 2A4 left turret cheek when penned will have a change to meet russian turrets in space, possibly photobombing nasa new horizon taking photos of planet pluto.
