Hi everyone,
With the recent focus on expanding wheeled vehicle lines for various nations, I’ve been thinking a lot about a true classic that is still missing from the game: the LAV-25.
While we already have the LAV-AD in the game, it feels like the “backbone” of the Marine Corps’ light armored capability is overdue.
I’ve tried submitting this as a formal suggestion previously, but since those can be tricky to get through moderation, I wanted to open a general discussion here to see what the community thinks.

I’m curious about your perspective on a few things:
- Battle Rating & Role: Where do you think a standard LAV-25 would fit best? Given the 25mm Bushmaster, would it be a solid scout for the 8.0–9.0 range, or would it struggle without ATGM support?

-
Future Updates: Has anyone spotted any mentions in recent datamines or developer Q&As regarding the base LAV-25 or its variants? It feels like a natural progression for the US/Canadian line.
-
Which Variant First? If Gaijin were to add it, which version would you prefer to see first:
-
The Early Production/Standard version: A pure, high-mobility scout.
-
LAV-A2: With upgraded armor protection and improved thermals.
-
LAV with Desert Warrior Turret: The “heavy hitter” equipped with TOW missiles, effectively turning it into a wheeled Bradley.
How should it be implemented?
Another interesting point for discussion — how would you like to see the LAV-25 introduced into the game?
-
Researchable Tree Vehicle: The most logical step for the light tank/scout line.
-
Squadron Vehicle: Since we already have the LAV-AD, maybe a specialized version like the LAV-A2 or the one with the Desert Warrior turret would make a great squadron reward?
-
Premium Vehicle: Would you be willing to buy it if it came as a high-tier premium to help grind the US/UK tree?

- Event/Battle Pass Reward: Or should it be a rare prize for an upcoming event?
Personally, I’d love to see it in the main tree, but a squadron version seems very likely given Gaijin’s recent trends. What’s your take?

Desert Warrior variant would be an amazing addition to the high-tier lineup. What do you guys think? Would it be too “OP” with that mobility, or is it exactly what the US tree needs right now?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
