Tiger II is currently very good anyways, doesnt need a buff. HEAT-FS is quite literally found at 4.0 and up, there isnt any way to stop it while keeping the tanks with it viable. HEAT-FS and other high pen rounds are meant to be the counter to heavy armor. Yes. They do struggle in uptiers, but thats not unique to them, or any other heavy tank for that matter.
Sorry to break your bubble, but APDS is at reserve tier and up, and HEAT-FS is found at 4.0+. Do you want the Ikv 103 moved to 8.0? The PT-76?
Viecles are where they are because of their capabilities. The late WW2 heavies such as the KT2H are where they are because they are good enough to be at that BR. Hell, the KT2H has a solid 2.8 K/D, is that not good enough for you?

Desync is one of the main causes of shots behaving weirdly from the player’s perspective, alongside volumetric, which the Tiger II benefits from just as much as the T29.
You claimed it’s not important to firepower. I very much disagree.
What other heavy tank in this BR range has a better reload? The Somua and the Surbaissè, but they’re both 7.7 (and in spite of this, the Tiger II can deal with both from the front, again not something every heavy can say about heavies 1 BR up).

with poor damaging HEAT and APDS yes… its not a perfect solution and these vehicles would be your max uptier regardless.

Simple evaluation of a GOOD tank in war thunder.
A killer on a downtier, a above average tank on a even match and can hold his own on a uptier.
Many WW2 heavies will do this…
BTW…“hold his own” means being able to kill reasonably (not needing a pinpoint shot) MOST enemies in the match.
You can always find a matchup with a +1BR tank that ANY tank will struggle with…but ON AVERAGE KT and most WW2 heavies are fine. And when they are not bottom tier they are very good.

Depends on the individual player. I know players who find heavies boring and want to spend only the minimal necessary amount of time grinding around 6.7 so they can move on. One of my close friends on the other hand plays every BR but likes 7.7 the most, whereas I never go above 7.7 and I consider 6.7 to be my favourite.

No, it’s just not possible cause there aren’t enough weapons at that Tier that can frontally engage it. The closest being T29, T34, M26 Pershings. While other nations at the moment simply do not have one in the game. All you’d need to do is focus on the minor nation and give them a WW2 Heavy tank that could effectively engage other Late War Heavies. Whether this is armor or just a glass cannon. But this just depends on Gaijin’s willingness to add certain Paper Designs that were either rumored or built to some extent or factories were preparing to produce it. But time will tell I suppose.
I just hate that ww2 /post war crossover, its a pure passion killer so I am toying with the idea of simply rolling through it to around 8_9 and seeing if the grass is greener in the land of the T54 etc

I was referring to the fact that most of those nations tanks are cold war around that BR, and have no ww2/early cold war things that can be put there, not sweden specifically.

Because I did not pass 6.7. I do not play for the grind. It’s my favourite BR in the game, and I enjoy playing it.
It’s my second-favourite ground vehicle in the game, besides the Jagdtiger (which, while being higher in my subjective enjoyment rankings, is definitely way less meta than the Tiger II). Cry about it.
