He was talking about dates it was made, not it being over powered or under powered
ty :)
np
why? We’re balancing on vehicle dates of introduction in historical matchmaking, not equipment.
IS-7 and the Object 279 as well, clearly they are ww2 material. Hell, the IS-7 was designed in 1945 as well.
Ok so I guess the Hs129 B-3 is not WW2 era?
(If you couldn’t tell, autoloaders were a thing even in WW2).
I thought you were serios with this for a second, then I had to read to what you responded to lol
You have hardly played any games .Come back when you know what you are talking about .
You are missing the point entirely
The Germans were experimenting with autoloader-assist technology for the Panther F before the war ended.
You dont need to be an expert to know that historical matchmaking is a bad idea. Admittedly, I aint have too many hours (still a large amount by any reasonable metric, but not by wt)
That doesnt mean I can’t speak from my own experience, nor does it mean that my point is invalid. Maybe stop stat-shaming and actually address the argument, please.
No ,historical matchmaking is great idea its just that Gaijin cant do it and that is that.
As for stat shaming sorry ,you issue is not stats its lack of experience,We all thought we knew the game at 2000 games then it all changes. No offence ,come back when you have 12000 games and see how differently you feel about so much of this game.
Historical matchmaking is a bad idea.
you don’t even need 200 games to see it’s a shit idea
No its a good idea and its the way the game should be .The fact that Gaijin cannot do it is the only reason they dont do it. In an ideal world WW2 tanks would only face WW2 and all tanks would play in their respective eras on the appropriate maps. Warthunder is sadly miles from that and never be that .Just as the BR issue will never resolved or the balance issues. You play modern tanks on the 1944 Normandy map because Gaijin cant do it any other way. Its not about bad or good ideas it is about what you are stuck with on this 12 year old game.
Until War Thunder 2 or a new more modern game comes out we are all stuck with the bad parts of this game and the likes of me and the OP will always complain about it but dont tell me historical matchmaking is a bad idea when it is the expectation of a game in 2024.
Brother what? He has thousands of missions
Your asking for era separation, separating pre-war and WW2 from cold war, which is not historical match making. Those are two very different things.
Still the problem with that is… who would want to play something that isn’t the very best of the era?
A million games wont make stupid people any more intelligent.
I know what I am asking for thanks.
He is saying that you don’t even need 200 matches, let alone 12000, to reach the conclusion that historical match making is generally a bad idea.
Which I agree with.
