inspire yourself from DCS CC’s instead and apply it to WT - that’s what i do when i have trouble.
those guys, like GrowlingSidewinder, are explainning much more about what they can do or not compared to their opposed aircraft.

but WT CC’s? i never seen anyone going in deep to basics, be it high or low BR

whos piot? should i watch him? even if he shares 20% of what he knows its probably 100x what i know…

MiGan Fox-3 is great when it comes to explaining how to use mechanics, how to use certain missiles and defend against them. Bad Karma is more about positioning and decision making.

Its not their fault of not doing everything. They have their own audience and they make things that cater to them. Also just wanting everything in one place is a bit lazy when you can watch few CC’s and get all the good stuff from more people and you will have even bigger picture on things.

As a CC it would be nice to have Isawyourunaway. And to add a little about maps, majority of maps needs a rework of terrain to make it more smoother; for example Afghanistan is desperately in need of more polygons.

i play arcade… you can see the history graph for proof of my stats… i wqnt to learn arb but i can only farm ai or ground… im not competitive enough for pvp

a few things:

  • I think including CC is a good idea - those guys make money on the content that people enjoy watching and playing, so it’s to their interest to play an enjoyable game, while the dev interest is to cash as much money from players as possible; the CCs who I follow are already reporting bugs and sharing their ideas on improving the game, gaijin just needs to listen to them
  • I think manual balancing is biased as hell, the vehicles should be only balanced basing on their performance, but not like the performance of top/bottom 5% players, but maybe middle 50%, and the stats should be easily accessible to everyone interested; AND BR changes should happen more often, BRs should be adjusted on a regular basis, e.g. every few weeks or so
  • I don’t want the games to take longer, they take long enough (sometimes even too long if somebody is base camping in props BRs) - I remember 2013-2014 when it’s been taking ages to get to fight, BUT I think the gameplay loop should be more diversed, there should be more stuff to do in a match, e.g. fighting off the bot planes (they should respawn, they do not influence the score any longer) or something else

The main issue in Air RB is the fact that there isn’t diversity in game play.

The matches looks more like a competitive CoD/CS where everyone is cruched together and if you want to survive you must have the most agile and accelerating aircraft (with the best missiles and flares/chaff in top tier). The thing is that all aircrafts were not build for the same purpose, thus having a small agile jet vs strike jet isn’t fair for the strike jet if you push the gameplay towards competitive dogfights on a small map with a lot of players for example.

Also there are some weapon systems that are useless like anti-ship missiles since attacking a ship wont earn you much SL and weapons systems that are nerfed or inexistent in WT that make some planes even more useless since it’s their main “weapon” and without it they are just a bunch of flying targets. (Not to mention nerfed planes #BritishTopTier)

I think having today air RB is good for some very competitive players, but there must be other modes.

My ideas :
For top tier :

  1. There could be for planes with a good radar and BWR missiles a mode where the players fight on long ranges and try to be out of the “No Escape Zone”.

  2. There could also be a mod called “Wild Wiesel”, where the main objective is to destroy enemy SAM with anti-radiation missiles and other air-to-ground weapons.

  3. An other mode could be “Behind enemy lines” where you have to destroy a target (on land or in the air) behind enemy lines without being seen and come back to you base. If you get spotted it will alert enemy planes and SAM batteries that will close on you.

More for prop bombers :
4) A mode where you have to destroy a taget with your bomber formation. (When you spawn, you spawn with several bombers (like in test flight) and inside of the formation you choose where you want to be as a player. Then when you get attacked, the enemy players have to destroy the formations and find you (the bomber players) before you bomb the taget.

EC :
5) On big enough maps, destroying airfileds would require destroying airfields AAA/SAM and destroying enemy runways so that players could not land/take off and must spawn on an other one.

  1. Someone also had the idea of destroying and/or defending a convoy.

  2. Defending a downed pilot/s until rescue heli/plane come picks them up.

  3. For naval airplanes : Hunting and sinking an enemy submarine thanks to an AI anti submarine hunter that will locate the submarine once a zone is “safer” from some naval units/enemy players

Also for naval airplanes : Put an indication of how much weigth they can carry to be able to take off from a carrier (PS : a fully loaded Buccaneer can’t take off fully loaded)

Correct also the Buccaneer bombs when drop from the bomb bay!!!

Saying that like it’s some bad thing.

All of the proposals are fantastic and i sure do hope Gaijin properly listens to this (even if i think they won’t). Only thing i disagree is having modes in the ARB rotation strike aircraft are “required” if you want to win. I think that’d cause more issues and frustration. HOWEVER, objectives that do help your team win that do suggest the use of strikers (say in X mode there are parts of the map covered by air defenses, belonging to both teams, and a strike aircraft can destroy this AA, opening that part of the map for their team and decreasing the enemy’s team tickets) is a fantastic proposition, specially if the rewards are good.
Another concern i have is associated with decompression, but also is it’s own issue, All-Aspect Missiles at low BRs. The A-10 and Su-25 already went up in BR a little, but them having 9Ls at 10.3 or 10.7, where they still fight flareless planes still is stupid, i would suggest removing their All-Aspects, or allowing the use of anachronistic or not accurate flare pods for aircraft that suffer the most from All-Aspect missiles at these BRs, like the F-4C.
Lastly, i think bringing in CCs to help the community in this case isn’t smart. Most CCs are very good at the game, more so than the average player, so it would be hard for them to understand the common player’s concerns and issues. Only exception to this is Tim’s Variety and Spookston (altought he is a GRB player, just an example), but bringing just one or two CCs is fairly meaningless.
Hopefully the snail listens and we win big, that might just make me come back properly.

P.S: An addition. No matter what doesn’t or does change, the minimum we should ask for is more SL and RP multipliers for both Arcade (for the early game and newer players, they’d benefit) and RB. And cheaper repair costs for Rank 4-6 aircraft, specially bombers like the B-29s, Tu-4s, the like, they are still a bit expensive for how much they can earn, more so if they get an uptier.

If you voted for the matches to be longer and more dynamic but not respawns how tf would that work in an enjoyable way
