It could happen,i had some periods in which i literally uninstalled the game because it was very annoying,and periods in which when i play,i usually sticks to other games before playing War Thunder.
If you feel you are burnt out,try relaxing for a bit by playing less this game,maybe wait the next update
It is relatively straight forward.
There are enough vehicles in the game, but it lacks any proper use of it.
If were talking about RB, then there is still a major balance issue between Ground and CAS through all BRs.
If you look at the higher BRs, then you have the same low tier game modes, just with so much better vehicles, this means that the maps are too small and every game is repetitive. There are no game modes where you have to destroy or defend specific targets…all we have is either capture the flag or domination.
And that feels even worse in Air RB, where you take off, go left and at some point you die to a missile.
Unless Gaijin introduces new, BR dependent, game modes, then people will simply move on as the game becomes just boring.

It’s been like that for a good while for me now. I don’t care about cold war machines, so I’ve pretty much unlocked and spaded all I want to. This is only exacerbated by the fact that Gaijin barely adds any new WW2 content, clearly more focused on top tier, which I don’t blame them, I’m very clearly in the minority when it comes to prefering earlier vehicles.
I also find it boring to play the same vehicle once I reach about 300 battles, even on my very favorite vehicles. I’m not a super competitive person so I don’t have much interest in having a stat card that says 1000 kills on every vehicle like some people I talk to.
I just think we all go through that phase of being addicted to just not being addicted.It just lasts longer for some than others.I think I will always have WT to hand even if its just a few games every now and then

That’s what happens when you play the same barely changed game mode since the beta on the same maps over and over and over and over and over again. I’ve decided today (after reading the most recent news post) that I will finish up the current BP and then quit the game again.
Meh, a little, but not much. I just log in and see what my BP tasks and do those. After that I just play what I find are fun things to play. Don’t focus on the grind, focus on the fun
Of course that is hard to do when you dread logging in and when you finish a game think to yourself “This isn’t fun. Why do I bother?”
You should get that projection thing looked at professionally.
I’ve been enjoying my time away from WT, personally. No contending with terrible, biased game coding and mechanics nor Gaijin’s general incompetence - See latest BR changes for aircraft in GRB -.
The game has gotten to the point where regardless of the amount of money I’ve spent on the game, I just can’t be assed to even try to muster the smallest amount of tolerance for Gaijin’s nonsense anymore.
It’s not the players that kill motivation and make the game genuinely unplayable. It’s Gaijin.
So do your thing, dude. Take a break, or quit entirely. It’s up to you. There’s plenty of other games to play that are genuinely enjoyable.
That’s how I feel. And all I did was give a suggestion of how to look at the game to feel less burntout ;)

Gaijin is slowly but surely turning the game into something i dont like.
“me unlocks a new tank, reads the description” (sniper, well armored but slow with a long reload)
“me” Oh sniper, some good clean long range engagements with other of of the same type.
“Gaijin” yeah… we don’t like that, so we will turn all maps smaller and flatter OR a city map.
“Me” oh… well armored, atleast it can take some punishment then!
“Gaijin” yeah… we don’t like that, so we will give light and medium tanks ammo that can shred right through you, most of the time frontally, we will even give some AA ammo that can kill you!
“me” so think well armored sniper is basically a slow brick with a long reload?
“gaijin” yup!
Save for the occasional weekend where a couple of buddies and I might squad up, I only play long enough to get my 2 daily tasks. That’s only if I roll ones I can complete in a match or two, if my rerolls hit the 50k mark I write it off for the day.
Join an active squadron if you have not already and i’m not talking about one where nobody talks in discord or squads, defeats the purpose.
Failing that, maybe just take a break and come back.
Would be preferable if they had a campaign based around historical scenarios such as Fall White, Fall Gelb and so on or Iran-Iraq war, the Toyota war in Chad etc with several real maps based around the places some of the battles took place and then link the maps to an end goal.
However, I guess Gaijin knows very well that certain countries dislike “forbidden” historical topics that take a different version of reality.
