Lack of motivation

Yeah, you do still get them. But I find Bluewater is plagued with player bots that give full reward, meanwhile Coastal is Gaijin bots that dont. Does vary from weekday to weekend though. Weekend matches are usually always full of players in bluewater.

Overall I just find the economy a bit more consistant in bluewater (if nothing else the SL gains from Bluewater are glorious)

Hehe

It gets repetitive after a while, especially in air. Every match is nearly identical, and it isn’t high quality gameplay.

Ground is slightly better, but it also gets repetitive sometimes.

Yep, Thats exactly the feeling I get. In fact what we could almost do with is literally other objective types in ARB and GRB. Like a king-of-the-hill style gamemode in GRB could be quite fun (or even CTF :D)

nope, 12k Hours so far and still enjoying the gameplay air and grb. Not a fan of Naval so I stay away from it.

Yeah, playing the same mode, with the same 5 maps, with the same plane, for what feels like an eternity (without premium time or vehicles) easily burns me out.

I subside to playing Fallout 4 if I don’t wanna talk to people, and Fallout 76 when I want funny moments with friends. Other than that, I don’t play much of anything else except ATS and FS-22.

I’ve actually found that sim/EC modes can kinda be refreshing, and feels like a whole different game.

I generally find the same issue, I can’t play, or at least grind, war thunder without having some kind of break imbeween grinding stints, usually find a smaller comfort streamer, and either play war thunder with them, or listen to them in the background, and it gives me a little bit more motivation.

If Gaijin removes Campania I’ll be the happiest person ever

It’s just likely burnout. I enjoy the game but sometimes the repetitiveness bores me. It won’t help by forcing myself to play, so a break is needed. Right now I’m waiting for more information for the next update.

My lack of motivation is after a 5 players spawn camping in Arcade Air

Usually, updates help hype up, however, your right, it does happen, better to play with friends and play goofy or help newer players learn. Usually, that spark needs to spread to others.

New game modes would make me want to play again, capping A-B-C on the same crappy maps for over 1000+ hours got me pretty burned out and after I did the dragon event I had no energy to play.

Repeatedly getting bombed by CAS while playing MBTs has destroyed all my motivation to play, these days I would only tolerate max 4-5 deaths by CAS, anymore than that I close the game.

It could happen,i had some periods in which i literally uninstalled the game because it was very annoying, and periods in which when i play,i usually sticks to other games before playing War Thunder.

If you feel you are burnt out,try relaxing for a bit by playing less this game, maybe wait the next update

It is relatively straight forward.

There are enough vehicles in the game, but it lacks any proper use of it.
If were talking about RB, then there is still a major balance issue between Ground and CAS through all BRs.
If you look at the higher BRs, then you have the same low tier game modes, just with so much better vehicles, this means that the maps are too small and every game is repetitive. There are no game modes where you have to destroy or defend specific targets…all we have is either capture the flag or domination.
And that feels even worse in Air RB, where you take off, go left and at some point you die to a missile.

Unless Gaijin introduces new, BR dependent, game modes, then people will simply move on as the game becomes just boring.

Yes.

It’s been like that for a good while for me now. I don’t care about cold war machines, so I’ve pretty much unlocked and spaded all I want to. This is only exacerbated by the fact that Gaijin barely adds any new WW2 content, clearly more focused on top tier, which I don’t blame them, I’m very clearly in the minority when it comes to prefering earlier vehicles.

I also find it boring to play the same vehicle once I reach about 300 battles, even on my very favorite vehicles. I’m not a super competitive person so I don’t have much interest in having a stat card that says 1000 kills on every vehicle like some people I talk to.

I just think we all go through that phase of being addicted to just not being addicted. It just lasts longer for some than others.I think I will always have WT to hand even if its just a few games every now and then

TV gif. Elisha Cuthbert as Alex in Happy Endings scrunches up her tear-stained face and says, "It's so beautiful."

(God forbid we have fun here … where is the flag army?)
