Man, Kurnass 2000 is Phantom. She is basically F-4E with extra countermeasures pod and Python 3 but costed AIM-7E-2 (I am not going to talk about better radar installed because It doesn’t make much of a change in ARB because there is no SARH supported by AN/APG-76. And Those markers make better radar worthless in ‘searching enemies’)
With a Phantom fuselage, Kurnass 2K might only gun down the other Phantoms or Tornado unless the enemy makes some stupid blunder and loses their advantage.

Yes, a jet that goes mach 1.15 on the deck, and sustains 14 degrees per second.
It’s not the most energy retentive, and it’s still among the fastest threats on the battlefield.
There are MANY aircraft worse than Phantom.
Launching first is “some stupid blunder” BTW, which most people do.
F-16 with the identical loadout is 13.0. Is that dead to you?
Or JA-37D which dogfights FAR worse than Kurnass 2000 at 12.0…
no means to Quote mining, but JA37D have 12.3BR only in ‘Air Arcade’
it is on 12.0BR
Edit while replying: oh you fixed your error.
and Also thinks that JA37D also needs to buff unless another BR decompression comes.
compared to F-4S, JA37D have worse SARH missile(RB71 Skyflash) with fewer ammo
Both JA37D and F-4J(UK) should be lower BR than F-4S. Seems out of main Topic though.
Kurnass 2000 was a worse dogfighting F-16 at 11.3 before the changes. 0.7 below that of F-16. Today it’s still 0.7 below that of F-16.
You know what aircraft are around 12.3? Sidegrades and worse vehicles.
F-20A, a sidegrade at 12.7.
F-14A is just a worse option. Reliant on radar missiles with a PD radar that’s only strong in head-on. Easily defeated platform, so easily defeated I did so with my Mirage 3C.
F-4J? No all aspect missiles, reliant on the weaker presence radar missiles at 12.0.
Tornado F3/ADV: Should honestly be 12.3, but people probably keep trying to dogfight in them. Trash dogfight performance, great furball management performance.
Mig-21Bison: Worse flight performance with weapons equipped. Pretty much a worse Yak-141. An F-4C with flares and 4 good missiles.
EJ Kai: 4 9Ls, with 4 radar missiles for catching people off guard.
JH-7A: Slightly better Kurnass 2000 with 2 less missiles.
F-104S ASA at 12.0. 4 9Ls, its flight performance keeps it at 12.0.
Kfir: Worse flight performance than Kurnass 2000 with 2 less missiles and is currently balanced at 12.0.
Mirage F-1CT: 2 good missiles and flies just as well as the Kurnass 2000. 4 less effective missiles total.
JA-37D: 6 meta IR missiles ton of countermeasures, worst energy retention above 10.0.
Sure, when you’re in custom battles doing 1v1s, Kurnass 2000 ain’t the strongest.
But air RB isn’t 1v1s, it isn’t dogfights.
It’s countermeasure count, speed, and awareness [RWR plays a role].
All of which Kurnass 2000 does better than every 12.0.
And sure, there are under-BR’d 12.3s. Bring those up instead of allowing Kurnass 2000 to bully people.
Seems our conversation will go infinite flatline unless Gaijin decompress the BR and makes fewer sidegrade or under-BR’d planes… Just like the Tornado and British Phantom discussion went.
Tornado F.3 Late was 12.7 and now 13.3 while F-15C MSIP was 13.0 and now 13.7. with 1 level[+0.3~0.4BR] of differnce. Of course, Tornado F.3 Late has slightly lower BR than F-15C does thanks to mediocre manoeuvrability which makes tornado unable to dogfight, with Four less AIM-120 in maximum capability. But that BR difference is meaningless because of Top of Top Rank are heavily crowded like black-friday discounted store does. Tornado F.3 AOP will never go downtier(12.3-13.3) thanks to that 13.7 bracket being heavily crowded.
We also can see boats over coastal 2.3BR which nearly always goes full up tier (2.3-3.3) but goes down tier (1.3-2.3) in a 1/20 ratio because 3.3BR brackets are crowded with PG-02 or Reserve bluewater destroyers. (Naval got only 0.7BR of extension while aviation got +1.7BR its BR compressing is even worse than Aerial does)
Feels like the whole BR radius in all game modes needs a drastic amount of BR decompressing and makes vehicles face more of their worthy enemy.
Last BR Decompressing was done simply without thinking. and just staying ‘slightly better than never’ level. Still, at least it made the end of the F-5C era which bullied many planes on 9.3~10.0BR while they were using ‘AIM-9E worthless so it is fine’ shielding…(F8U-2 seems on its Sweet-Spot though thanks to their fragile wing got aided by makeshift healing with changing of wing-snapping mechanism.)
I think we need to have another BR decompressing on at least in a September Major update.
Then Kurnass 2K can see fewer 4th gen but also might see fewer inferior planes as a side-effect.
Thats just a delusional take, even if was true, you would be ignoring everything else that involves better speed, such as range and maneuverability.
Good luck defeating any R-24R fired at you withing 6 km range that isnt side-aspect.
Second delusional hot take.
The only paper stats that doesnt means nothing are these kind.
In that excel is were you can find the only stats that are truly relevant.
I literally proved that you are wrong in every aspect.

No. (lmao)
What? (Literally better performance in every aspect)
What (what)

@Leinadmix9_ツ 50km range, despite being faster as you claim, proving that speed doesn’t give you extra range. I haven’t died to an R-24R in so many years I forgot the last time I did.
Kfir C7 retains energy worse than Kurnass 2000 by 1 degree per second.
Kfir C7 also has a lower peak G limit than Kurnass 2000 due to it being a Mirage 3/5 derivative aircraft.
Lets also ignore that if both missiles are fired at the same time:
More speed and acceleration = reaches the enemy faster/reaches peak maneouverability = enemy dies sooner = enemy´s missile stops tracking = you dont die (MiG-23s dominated the ARB for a whole year for a reason).
Idc about range because if you kill anything past 15km with any missile is because the enemy is just AFK or doesnt have a RWR.
Yes, but you can also use your “S” on the keyboard instead of dumping all of your speed.
Sorry to be the “hmm ackchyually” guy, but:
Spoiler
The Kfir also accelerates way better than the Kurnass, so even if you lose speed faster, you gain it also faster.

Still doesn’t change the fact Kurnass 2000 retains more energy.
The test is done with trim settings.
Something that has never happened in a single match I’ve played, partially cause I know better.
Statistical improbabilities are not to be taken into account.
Oh hey, the Kfir C7 energy retention turn rate, with a max G pull of 9G, vs the F-4’s 11Gs, which means F-4 pulls better instantaneous as well.
Kurnass 2000:
Slightly better energy retention, mostly due to a second engine for the mass being pushed.
And better instantaneous.
Kfir C7 was good at 11.3, and 12.0 is the new 11.3.

Well, play more if you feel you don’t play that often.
I guess i should, ping me whenever you dont say some bad hot take

how do you get so many different stats on your HUD?
