honestly what would be the US and USSR equivalent of the Eurofighter?
Eagle, Hornet, Viper, Tomcat

welp might just realy mean then that the f4f ice is the end of line for germany for a good while (ignoring tornado assta 3.1) just makes it more ovious to me that germany will get test or sub nation aircraft properbly, or they will do nato style those US aircraft that are stationed in germany for all i know
Easy enough to do that too. F-15C, F-16C, F/A-18C, F-14D.
Though you can go further with blocks and other nonsense, but I don’t think it matters that much in-game terms since a lot of the block features on these aircraft don’t matter in-game.

Given how good @Morvran says the Eurofighter radar is, and that it was intended to counter the Su-27, I could see a stretch to Su-27C versus early Eurofighter. F-18C for US maybe?
The later tranches, which I know little about, and whose development came around the time of the development of the Su-30 variants and the Su-35 would have me thinking that would be the later response. Some crazy F-16 and a super hornet perhaps?

As I’ve said before, we are entering an era of combat planes that cannot really be balanced with historical aircraft configurations and the nations we have in the game
The F-4F ICE wouldn’t even be good as a stopgap for BVRAAM capabilities, as it is such a horribly outdated platform compared to F-15s, Su-27s, etc
Well we’re not going to get the most modern version of the Eurofighter first so the F-15C or F-16C or F/A-18C would be more than enough.
Of course, if you don’t think so then we can jump straight to the F-22 and render all other aircraft obsolete :)
