I see that the Strikemaster is now getting Mk.77 Napalm bombs, these are 750lb bombs and seem it seems to be able to carry four of them. Does this potentially open the door for the plane to get 750lb convential bombs such as the M117 750lb bombs?
The hardpoints could clearly carry them and the planes listed max payload is 3000lbs, which is of course the same as 4 x 750lb. Considering it just got moved up to 6.3 this could be a bit more reasonable.
But they already confirmed that they are atleast working on the Chinese Navy no ? so maybe its something like the Israel TTs starting at a certain age of Vehicles
I’m not sure if they ever confirmed work on the Chinese tech tree or not, but your right, I imagine if they were going too implement it it would be similar too how they did the Israeli tech tree.
I’m not expert tho but even with such an option, dosnt china just lack alot of the larger conventional ships from the WWII era like battleships?
China has no heavy cruisers, no modern light cruisers, no battleships after the Dingyuan(?) Class (which Japan captures one of and improved it), and no modern destroyers until the '50s at least. The tree cannot start until mid-60s missile ships first start appearing unless players want the true China experience.
in the very first message of this Topic, where all the summarized stuff is, under the Section for the Chinese Navy, there is a link to a Q&A i believe where they stated that they have plans for implementing it.
Yeah Chinese Navy would really start off after WWII. They only had some light Cruiser, afaik, ordered from Japan, and which Japan also seized during the war. They got their hands on a couple of British Vehicles, which served in WWII after the war, which, again afaik, participated in the Civil War. And before WWII they had some Ironclads, obsolete Cruisers and such.
So they would really start in mid/late Cold War, an Era which we didnt hit with Bluewater Naval atleast. For Coastal it might be different tho.
