Yeah and im sure the Mig 29 would get some goodies as well, not just R73s, possible even ECM if they add them with the vark
Honestly I wouldn’t mind it. It means you have more BR brackets to cover and can weigh the choice of high br = better weapons or low br = worse weapons
but the G didn’t have ECM
I dont think gaijin has the wiggle room with germany at high BRs any more, its pretty much the Mig 29G and maybe 2 F4F ice variants with and without AMRAAMS left before the typhoon unless they decide to add tested vehicles like F15
Ok thats fair, i just figured that it would come with something else as a feature
The SMT version has guided weapons, the Mig-29G does not, what is the point of me as a player pumping it out? Moreover, nothing else will officially come to this thread, since all the planes are finished
I know but I’d rather have the old Italy situation with the G.91Y as the best fighter for a long time than the same thing 4 times
Just be happy you get a capable 4th gen fighter lmao
Could be worse, you could be playing UK or Sweden
I am playing sweden
I mean at least you have a competitive top teir, they could have left you with the F4F ice without amraams to get you by
at least it would have OK Heat seekers
Rough lmao
Honestly, Germany needs a decent CAS option, not a MiG29. Something with LGBs or Mavericks that isnt the phantom (if such a plane even exists)
The MIG29 they have, is already quite potent
no such a plane doesn’t exist
Oof…
the next plane with AGMs Germany could have is a Tranche 4 Eurofighter with Brimstones (they were tested and may get implemented in the IRL future or Present)
for LGBs it’s another Tornado or a Tranche 3 Eurofighter with Paveways
I don’t think I need to tell you how far in the future they are
Then they say that the air development branch of UK is in poor condition :0
Tbf we are at the awkward position for germany just after reunification when a lot of the projects and military procurement was toned down so theres not much in the way of new vehicles without copy and paste
most German arms development stopped in 1989
I would have said even earlier
