Slap a destroyer turret on a B17, it must be possible, i need it done
I am also an air person predominantly. But I am British and main Britain so its a point of national pride to attempt naval. Its a shame we should dominate by all-rights but currently we are 3rd to Russia and Germany. I was hoping naval could be the place where we were meta unlike air and ground.
Here it’s the Jean Bart refit slightly after ww2.
It got a lot of refit, first with full USA refit with 40mm bofor (14x4) /20mm oek on every flat cm during ww2.
Then this last refit, monster AA indeed with dual 57mm :
Gun depression : -10° / +90°
Gun depression speed : 25°/s
Max shell capacity : 1200 per gun (80 rounds clip)
Total shell capacity : 42000
ROF : 120 rpm (240 for the turret).
Range : ± 5500m (AA) 15000m (45°)
Muzzle velocity : 956m/s

Agreed there, In air and ground, fine I can accept not being that strong… But naval… there is no excuse.

Supercharges might be useful. One advantage is that although less aesthetic, the UK had short calibre guns L45 usually. Which helps when arcing rounds.

I like both about equally, but NRB is a pretty dire gamemode. WoWs was quite good fun for a time, but a bit too arcadey for my liking

As do I, I say I main Britain, but really i have all of Germany bar naval at top tier. Britain was just my first and current nation. But im finding ground RB pretty cancerous at the moment.

No, not really. Just about every WW2 era and before ship is represented by at least one ship in the Japanese tree. While it is true we are still missing a tech tree Myoko and the Takao class flat out, plus a few destroyers, that’s just about it for ships below 20k tons. Nagato and Yamato (and their sisters) are the only completed battleships still to be seen without going backwards to Tsushima era ships, and I don’t know if a Russian company would ever add Mikasa.
Though I certainly wouldn’t mind more ships, even if they are copy-paste.

I’ve given up with ground at the moment, never been my cup of tea. but getting to top tier was my last salvation with the idea, “You cant be uptiered at top tier” well… Unfortunately that is not entirely true if you play Britain
I’m taking it as a personal insult to be honest. I don’t know why we have this strange mess of WW1 mixed with WW2. Sure British cruisers were shit. Thats down to doctrine. But we are missing like 2 classes of 13.5inch Battlecruisers, and 6 classes of 13.5 inch Battleships which would give us edges in other areas.
Instead we have invincible and Glorious, which is nice, but not at the expense of Lion, Tiger or Queen Mary.
