Kings of Battle - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

That AA is monstrous. Is it the same AA battery that they deemed to be superior to the 40mm bofors?

Yep, and have little to no impact on “balance”

Aye but I can’t think of an example of a ship in-game that was finished, differently to the way it was laid, and is represented that way. As i said I’d like to see them that way, but it may be a barrier.

Ohh im sure people would find some way to whine.

“But muh P-47/ Il-2/ Fw-200 cant fit in these small gaps like naval aircraft, please fix”

Or someone exploiting folding wings somehow in a dogfight

With the 18 inch gun proposal I’d like to see her even more. 7.3 may be a tad too low but then again the fire-power is the same as Hood.

I still find it interesting how much different the bow of Vanguard and Lion class are to the bow of Yamato and Iowa, probably due to the intent of Pacific service and that yielding a much different necessity. (Particularly as Iowa supposedly struggled in the Atlantic storms but Vanguard did fine)

“To understand the flight models of bricks first you must become the brick” - some top tier naval aircraft trying to fight tornados probably

But that was a long time ago, today it has changed a lot. now Brazil can have its own line just like Israel entered starting with Tier 4

Yeah, would be a tricky call, but I think in NRB it would be a high 7.3 but fine at 7.3

Yeah, Vanguard was probably meant for Atlantic, North sea more than Pacific but I dont really know that much about her, not done a full deep dive yet

Never played Tornado, but i’ve played Vautour.

I’m sure i can found your Tornados agile.

That is true coupled with some other nations they could probably fill out a tree properly. Cuba may be interesting for that purpose.

The tornados turn slower than continental drift, by the time you have done a 180 half the enemy team has died of old age

Fantasy boat game nonsense. Izumo and Azuma aren’t real, beyond just not having been finished, the Izumo class literally isn’t real and Azuma (B-65) was never laid down, same with Kii.
Unless, of course, you mean the DDH, then lmao sure.

this thing is 9.0 and T-64A is 9.3

Kaga was further along as a BB than Kronshtadt was at simply being built :)

I think it depends where they place her contemporaries. IIRC her belt is very thick and 15-inch guns are supposedly in a nerfed state atm. If this is true then she may be higher. But if they draw a distinction between ships armed with 16-inch+ guns such as Iowa, Yamato, Lion (maybe G-3), and group the Littorio, Bismarck, Vanguard, Richelieu etcetera then we shall see.

All 15 inch guns have increased dispersal. at around 12km, i’ve had half a salvo in the hood land short and the other half land long. But yeah, she is basically a Hood but with WW2 tech, so better armour and engines. But same overall offensive fire pwoer. The make or break is shells

For me ships are not really my thing I’m more of an aircraft person

Yes this is true, but Kronshtadt was never converted to a carrier or even suggested for conversion because the Soviets like to attempt things they can’t finish so she was just cancelled. Japan had a huge fleet and acted similarly to Britain in that they tried building a new class per year. The tree could probably be as full as Britain without some questionable additions such as Kaga.

I do hope we see Kaga though because it opens many doors to other ships.

What about flying boats? Hmmmmm
