But the feature I think they’re actually adding is a stationary AI radar that is shown as search radar to all radarless SPAA vehicles and if we’re unlucky is needed for Type 81/11 fire control.

the bandkanon is still way more effective as an pseudo spaag than the auf 1, it is actually extremely effective unlike the auf, as it has a fast reload and a higher velocity he vt, with the auf you can only really defend yourself at best from someone strafing you

Its good at times, but its no spaa. Mostly because of the ammo count.
And my point remains the same, that Sweden has a bigger dedicated spaa gap
Gripen A was capable of using Skyflash and also Swedish AIM-9L it would be an all-round upgrade over the current JAS-37D. At 11.7 or 12.0 it would be a good option to grind the Gripen C.
But i also understand that some people might not want a downgraded airframe after grinding through the same airframe with minor weapons adjustments such as with the JAS37 and AJS37

I understand that, euro canards are beautiful. (Even if i don’t like that much EF visually :p)
For me i’d kill for a Rafale but at least Gripen is confirmed, and EF/Rafales are confirmed not for a while.
So you gonna enjoy that long before us.

you can actually hit them, and more easily, not to mention that it actually have a great vertical targeting speed unlike the auf, the bkan just outmatch auf in every metric as an spaag, and it is perfectly capable to play as an spaag, i have done pretty well with it in that role.
And the dev server Q&A softly confirmed it for italy
I like the EF’s underside profile i dislike its topside i don’t like the way the fuselage is rounded. But I do like the performance it has.

For me the Gripen is the best looking of the bunch.
I think they all look better than most planes that aren’t F-22’s and SU-57’s.

You guess any day F-16C Block 50 (USAF), AV-8B+ (Marina Militare) and F-16D Block 40 Barak (IAF/IDF) could get JDAM ?
I guess F-16I Sufa (IAF/IDF) might be equivalent F-16C Block 50/Block 52+ (PAF, Siły Powietrzne & Royal Moroccan Air Force), F-16C/D Block 52M (HAF) and F-16CM Block 50 (Türk Hava Kuvvetleri & USAF)
what i found the most “off” on the EF is the big square airtake. They break the shape of the plane, don’t like them.
Just as I’m not a fan of the Gripen’s unique long, slim engine. It sticks out too much. ^^
Rafales are perfect under every angle to me, also this sound… :p
