I feel like it’s gonna take a while longer. Since the Type 93 it’s been 4 years and they insisted they are still working on it in the recent QnA because it would require a new mechanic.
Seeing as this last part about a new mechanic was proven false multiple times I think this QnA was a way for them to simply buy time as they in reality just started working on it. And now it will likely take a bit longer than usual since they promised a new game mechanic with it that also takes time to develop.
Or they have been working on it for years and are still years behind on research, who knows.
but what would be this new feature they are working on?
I’ll assume external AI search radar. They might also make fire control reliant on it even though it isn’t actually necessary in reality. But that last part is only if they are years behind on research.
Edit: If they aren’t willing to give the KCU the same exception they give external MGs and ATGMs, as well as MLRS vehicles they’d also limit fire control to the radar but that would be and awful decision for gameplay.

Neither AuF1 and Bkan 1C have fast traverse, but the AuF1 at least has a turret. They can work as spaa in a capacity better than that of a ZSU-57-2.
Point was that the spaa gap is larger on Sweden than France as long as you dont consider the ZSU-57-2 a spaa.

Gripen C is confirmed for this year. They could add the Gripen at any point but j suspect it will be the Christmas major update.
They could add the F-18A and Gripen A now though and they’d be pretty well balanced.
