Not in defense for all the captured vehicles in Germany, but this would have 0 gameplay differences compared to the ingame king tigers. Not to mention the USSR is probably the last nation that’s low on heavies.
I would’ve voted yes if it was changed in even a small way like additional armour plates or different mg. Modified lend lease and captured stuff (i.e KW I C 756 (r) and T 34 747 (r) for captured, soviet Hurricane and Hampden for lend lease) are perfectly fine additions imo and fully support thier addition.
Stuff like this and the captured Type 95 really aren’t needed.

The Indian T-90 is a more unique addition than a reskinned Tiger II because of the differences in armour protection, and a worse shell than the Russian T-90. It’s also at a lower BR giving it different matchmaking and an overall different experience.

the problem is east german vehicles are fine cause germany was basic 2 different countries at that point east west they add a lot of value to the german air tree and ground.
rest of those vehicles no one asked for gaijin puts them in when there lazy and again i despise the swedish tiger 2 and no one liked india and the F14IRIAF is the most BS plane ever should have never been added
there are far better domestic options for the russia than a captured tiger 2 at 6.7 like Late IS2M or 1969 T34-85
I agree with everyone saying that this would be a wonderful (and justified) addition to Soviet TT, but in my opinion it’d just be another way to kill what remains of TT uniquenesses. Soviet 6.7 is more than fine with the vehicles it has, and I personally prefer the Tiger II H being available only for Germany
All vehicles I mentioned won suggestion vote, so people have clearly desired for them to be in game. Just like with any suggestion of trophy vehicle (If its not for USSR).
But every time I see anything remotely NATO being suggested for USSR there are always people crying their eyes out about how it will ruin the game and nation uniqueness, even though USSR is the most non-unique nation in the game, because russian stuff can be found in every other tech tree. Oh and also constant whine for T-90/pantsir/any modern russian shit for USA.
Even obscene and absurd suggestion about Mig-25 for Japan have almost equal yes/no votes.
Unimagineable ammount of value will be added to USSR tree if they receive trophies, trialed stuff, and other vehicles under same excuse gaijin using to add russian stuff to anyone else.
Not everyone supported those additions, and many still dislike them.
We don’t need such copy paste, and it’s a shame there already is that much. No other nation should get a Tiger II, especially not a major nation like Russia.
Captured vehicles should not be added unless they have been modified in a way that makes them meaningfully different from the unmodified counterpart. Copy/paste vehicles also need to be meaningfully unique, and this Tiger II isn’t.
Forgot to say that the ******* even receive better versions of our own equipment. I suppose gaijin conveniently “forgot” to implement the more lethal 2 cm 251/21 for the side that actually invented it. This is also applicable to the Ar 196 A-5 as well
USSR just got a captured german tank not even germany has two updates ago. USSR has a panther and panzer 3 aswell. While germany has a T-34, KV1 and KV2. So both have the same amount of captured vehicles
Dont even need them captured. IS-2 was used by east germany and su-85 (not su-100 though) aswell.
That’s one of the problems. Everything was used captured by everyone especially after germany fell all remaining tanks were in allied hands. You cant really expect to get them all like people here. The only unique ones remaining would be prototypes. Same goes for germany. Ton of soviet, allied stuff was captured. Both shouldnt be ingame and ussr tree really doestn lack late war heavy tanks. USA doesnt lack either. Both have even the most around 6.7 to 7.3

We do NOT need another King Tiger in a battle pass. I’m already seething over the fact that gaijin locked the only two heavies, literally an entire vehicle class, in the Swedish tree behind a paywall. Same goes for Italy with the Tigris
Two wrongs don’t make a right. A large chunk of captured soviet equipment were modified to differ and thus, I firmly believe they are unique additions. Sure the copy paste trophy stuff should 100% go. East Germany is also quite needed mostly for air as even with Switzerland,West Germany and Modern Germany would lack a strong enough air tree outside of prop and early jet BRS due making a low amount jets post ww2 (Alpha, Tornado and Typhoon, all of which were multinational projects).
The Swedish T-80 was also dumb, though I understand why the Mi-28 was added as the Swedish Heli tree is quite sad.
This doesn’t mean the USSR or any other nation should be allowed to grab all of its trials and trophies. If they were modified to the point it would change the gameplay and or damage model, then sure. If it’s the only option, fine. Otherwise nuh uh.
Me-163 was modified with extra seat → unique addition
USSR tt dont have any tanks with decent reverse and depression → Leopard 2, Abrams or T-84
USSR tt dont have any wheeled tanks, despite having many local designs → Centauro, Freccia and AMX-10
Does it look as justified as swedish Mi-28 to you? Doubt so.

Most (nearly all) people opposing suggestions like this are doing so not because of “copy-paste”, but purely because it is suggested for USSR.
