ok, yea… Im doing this sort of map pointing strikes with JDAMs… they are quite effective, yet I need to be closer and higher (exposed to AA). Ignoring the airfield strip thing and taking into count flight start feels that kh38ml is very powerful… its a rocket jdam (considering TNT warhead) …I need to get it

I don’t see you spamming a 6ish volley right above the runway of your airbase, then belly landing for a quick stop, rearming…speedy take off…next volley GNSS KH-38…belly landing… and so on. You missed the topic quite a bit :) See you need to climb and your Hammers take like an eternity to reach the impact zone.

Slop maps for slop brains. It’s not a hard equation; they simply failed to learn how to think critically.

I rarely see enemy jets being spawned except for by the aforementioned slop-brained morons who love to eat IRIS-T SLs and AMRAAM C-7s. Spawning any Air, be it CAP or CAS seems to be rapidly going out of vogue since the average player is too stupid to deal with the new SPAA.

I see people do this tactic almost every match, where is the counter play to this cancer? Spawning CAP is expensive and the SLM radar can’t pick them up, you can’t even leave the spawn in most maps. Kh-38 needs a nerf to its release speed and altitude, even the brochures says it needs a minimum release speed of about 600 km/h.

If only GNSS guidance worked on IRIS-T, maybe we could launch missiles into the airfield and hope they lock on, it’s only fair that ground players can do the same.

Or give us MLRS and HIMARS at this point, since there isn’t any real counter play other than rocket artillery.

with slower, easier to shoot down, smaller A2G weapons. The radius is tiny, its so incredibly slow that the target has minutes to move before being reached, or they can just shoot it down since it is so incredibly slow. It also requires high speed and a bit of a height.

And spawning CAS is somehow cheap now ?

Give the IRIS T sector scanning mode (without 90° radar rotation) and the ability to rotate the radar by the mouse. Give real parameters to the IRIS T matrix seeker so that they do not go into infrared flashes. Give real large maps and remove the hills/mountains behind vehicle spawns so that aircraft cannot jump out right in front of the vehicles with impunity. Then the IRIS T will start to destroy X38s and their carrier aircraft en masse.

You got already a SPAA that hard counters every KH38 slinger and easiliy intercepts those missiles. And you still want more.

Give them an inch, and they’ll take a mile.

Can do such with any rocket that does not cease to be over 15km, such has been a thing with russian helos and S-13s for god knows how long.

Yes… it’s done with all kind of guided and unguided rockets (russian and nato alike), while sitting/hovering above the airfiled/helipads. And by the logic of most of the dwellers in this thread… they should be nerfed, becous there isnt any couter-play to those kind of tactics (for most of them, not sitting in the same spot for the entire game is a foreign concept and difficult to execute). Well they (the dwellers) only talk about the russian stuff, but I think they just forgot* about the others ;)
So such ordnance that can be fired outside visual range should be removed in order to the crowd with “special” needs to be happy.
P.S.
Only the russian ordnance… all othere are free, democratic and fine… only the russian’s are bad :)

lol, “hard counters” is really hilarious, “easily intercepts those missiles” is even more so.
Both DL and radar on SLM are horrible. Radar refreshes too slow (2-2.5 sec) and the DL switches tracking from plane to ordinance when someone releases a kh38 for example, but works with literally anything.
The fact that you didnt know that and youre here spouting nonsense makes me feel like youve not played the vehicle one bit, instead youre more on the receiving end of it and are unable to learn how to counter said AD system.

To make it more understandable for you, you know how when youre in your pantsir in LOS mode and youre locked onto lets say an F16, youre guiding your 95Ya6 towards a plane but they fire off a maverick and the 95Ya6 instead of continuing to guide to said plane youre locked on it starts going after the maverick instead… Well on pantsir you can just unlock and relock to make it again guide to said plane, SLM doesnt have that luxury.
As soon as the guidance switches from plane to missile (which it does against your will) you have to fire off a new missile.
If the CAS player is smart, after the last missile was fired he then flies low and defensive to try and shake off any IRIS T SLs that are guiding towards his presumed vector via IOG.

You saying that the missile is hard countered by kh38 slingers either means youre not very good at CAS or that youve just not learned how to fight against SLM properly
