re read what i said please
age isn’t a factor. pointless to try to use it to strengthen an argument
smh
I like Cold War era stuff - Amx-30s, Leo 1s, M60s… its still not top tier regarding capabilities, although there are a few outliers. I think the game is best around 8.0ish (7.7-9.0 to be more exact)… lots of fun in there, with some unusual stuff thrown into it too. CAS/Helis are not as OP as in the higher BRs, and they can be counter-played, but a good CAS player could make a difference in these BRs (but still necessarily winning the game).
Alas, personal opinion/preference. Not going to try to convert anyone. I understand people who enjoy even lower tiers; Im personally not a fan of all the WW2 stuff.
if you dont think AAs are underpreforming look at the thread about how much gaijin has messed up the ADATS
Did I ever once state that AAs aren’t underperforming?
you asked “How so?” so I mentioned somewhere you can find out
You didn’t give me one singular answer to the question of “how so”, simply pointing your finger and deflecting over to the ADATS doesn’t answer how it’s worse than it is IRL.
there are like 5-10 different major things mentioned there, do you really expect me to accurately list them?
Yes? You’re the one that mentioned it out of place, so what about it is underperforming in relation to real life?
incorrect radar elevation in game it is 18, irl up to 72 depending on conditions and target range
in game lacking ability to que targets to irst from the radar despite being IRL feature
missile velocity+agility less than IRL
IRST missing adverse weather capability, and range is too low in game
TWS tracking of up to 20 targets IRL
Sight elevation limited to 60 degrees in game while ILR could go past vertical
Sight missing stabalization
Thermal sight resolution too low in game
IRL it could tell where its missile was after the motor burned out
inability to effectively intercept munitions in game where it was confirmed and tested to be able to irl
and more
According to?
Do you mean being able to lock onto people via IRST based on their radar return?
Welcome to poor implementation of every SPAA in the game! Anything with radar and IRST as the sole locking feature is unable to slew via radar, from the CV9040 to even the Soviet SPAA.
According to?
As is everything else in the game. Welcome to engine limitations and poor implementation.
It has TWS. It sort of came with its optical tracking.
Are you talking the sim sights or gun-attached sight?
Still sim sights?
According to?
So… Datalink?
According to?
It’s more than capable of intercepting Kh-38Ms, Vikhrs, Kedges, and Karens.
all of these are answered in the thread I mentioned
stop trying to derail this thread
You didn’t link a thread.
Are you not the one that just derailed the thread by accusing me of having an entirely fictitious viewpoint?
Are you lost? Genuinely, I think you need some help.
because you dont know how to search stuff
No
Well, yes but no. It was by no means provided to the crew
Not when you say “that one thread where the thing is mentioned”, though I still wouldn’t take that thread with a granule of salt.
Even with that as your backing, you still misstated and even downright missed the target on some of your points.
At most you get time to target… Unless it somehow has datalink as a beamriding system and just so happened to never mention it
No. It was used internally by the system for the coded laser telescope. Was it measured by LRF, was it time based. Idk.
Not that type. 20 targets (10 on the US ADATS) were TWS by the radar.
