J'ing out to avoid giving enemies a kill

I dont play cas much, atleast i just started playing it more frequently.

but now i notice, people keep and KEEP j’ing out when theyre helpless, to avoid you getting the kill (i could have missiles out on the SPAA and they would just j out)

Now a bigger problem arises because you dont get a crewlock with the free vehicles, so somebody can just spawn in an ADATS, Pantsir, Tor and as soon as they see its not working in their favour, and theyre about to die, they J out and there is not a single reprecussion.

Seeing as this was worked around (Somewhat) in ARB, we could also have this in GRB with different circumstances?

I didnt think this would make its way from ARB to GRB but this is just scummy.

I heard it’s some type of protesting against gaijin

While it might not be the exact same; there is a topic that goes over many aspects of J-out and issues surrounding it:

Nothing to see here, just your average garbage, toxic playerbase.
Imo a good solution would be to make the vehicle keep existing after you J-out, so if the enemy destroys it within a certain amount of time after you J-out they still get the kill

I started doing it in SIM in the sea harrier FA.2

But only if I run out of missiles. I don’t see the point of giving someone a kill if I am unarmed.

Or if the manage to avoid 4 amraam.

Yeah but some people do it while still armed, when they start losing a fight, and it’s really cancer gameplay

Fair enough I don’t if I have a weapon I’ll accept the kill.

But if I get jumped RTB unarmed and unable to fight back why would I give the MiG-29 that’s been chasing me back to my airfield a free kill.

Flip it, you and another guy are 1v1 fighting, shooting missiles and guns, he turns to RTB because he is out of missiles and ammo. How would you feel if that guy J-out to deny you the kill?

No more like a 3rd party

I fight the first dude usually kill him or we trade.

I’m running back to base. Then here comes random number 3.

So you got into a good position by playing tactically and catch an enemy off guard, he J-out because he happens to be out of ammo, how would you feel?

Would feel fine, find someone else lol.

You would then very likely be in a very small minority that would react that way :P

Interesting most the time they don’t even catch me before being messed up by ito.

I don’t see it as tactical if you are going to braindead chase me all the way to my airfield.

I would rather maneuver kills be added. I’m more annoyed when pilots crash trying to avoid my top down AMRAAM.

I want to put in my perspective here.

If someone crashes [majority unintentionally] or J’s out in air modes, my only thought is “Cool, one less threat.”
Their tickets will drain by a little, and I’ll be able to do other things in the match.

But I don’t have that pressure that comes from other factors to gain a frag; as examples I don’t play War Thunder to statpad or to grind, I play to enjoy cool vehicles. And new vehicles are to me, a bonus to what I’m already enjoying.

They should just implement the system from air that gives a kill to the nearest enemy if you J out.

Nah more like radar locks or missile locks.

I think the biggest issue with such a system would be that it’s to easily abused.

How so? If you j out while an enemy is inside let’s say 500m of you they get the kill?

Happens all the time in ARB, people crash in the ground when they run out of CM’s. Or chinese zombers crash right after bombing to deny kills.
