That’s why I really want to see some information about it.
Especially Japanese vehicles is interesting
That will me unfair advantage against glorious soviet vehicles
Type 89 and Type 99 should use the same transmission, but the Type 89 has 9 forward and 4 backward gears, while the Type 99 has 8 forward and 2 backward gears. This is very strange.
WHERE NO WAY?!?!?!
I missed the dev stream :(
Apparently the optical seeker mode has been nerf can see flares now or something.
Bruh. Ain’t the whole point of optical mode to avoid seeing them or something?
Optical mode implementation is based on old soviet optical missile and it was shit at very least
And everyone else getting the same treatment because that missiles 50 years ago was bad
Yeah…i guess well see if that is true i haven’t been able to test anything yet.
anyone wanna back me up? I need better sources
Wiki may be wrong unless these two aren’t the N1K2 Type 21a.
The setup in the photos only allows 2x 250kg or 4x 60kg.
Any information on the muzzle velocity of the Type 99 SPH? i find it hard to believe that it fires the same rounds at the same velocity as the Type 75 SPH despite the barrel length being over a third longer.
The range on the sources say its capable of firing much further at least so why would the velocity be the same?
its not ready yet its supossed to get a new ammo i hope it gets type 03 tbh
it is currently an EXACT copy of the type 75 down to number of rounds, transmission, engine, weight ect, don’t expect thse to be final
yeah as of rn its missing everything pretty much
I’ve come back with some hope, there may be some info about it here if you can find a PDF.
I don’t know if it’s the same manual you can find on the national archive website but it’s worth a shot.
Anyone happen to know what the Type99’s ammo load is? It’s gotten most of it’s stats updated from the SPH now, muzzle velocity, reload, weight, engine power, ect. But it still has the same exact ammo capacity which looks silly for something like twice as big (also traverse and elevation speed but that’s not a big issue). Looks like it’s just still WiP but could be good to know just in case.
it can use warcrime ammo aka Type 03 cluster ammo
Will Gaijin ever allow the Japanese Tanks to lock on targets on Type 90/16/10 according to their FCS capabilities? Not sure what other tanks have that ability but it would be helpful to allow such a thing. Just wondering since I don’t see anyone talking about it.
Challenger 2, M1A2, Leopard 2A6, Leclercs, Ariete, Merkava MK4 and CV90120 those are the ones ik so far
