JAS39C is missing basically EVERYTHING that makes it a version C

Actually have a question on this, is it in English or Swedish? I don’t know but I would assume the A has it in Swedish because its a Swedish jet, but for international export/NATO standardization, the C would have it in English. Either way, want to see this system expanded across modern jets in the various languages they are used in

I’m not sure if the A version even has it at all.
The C version has it in English as far as i have seen. (https://youtu.be/eXaPfUs6sQw?si=7IIkOYjf7VNhbk4N&t=105)

I know it is a simulator, but VWS both female and male https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5Vyji9wlak
male is for flight things while female for electronics

Not any simulator though, its the actual pilot training one ^^
Here is the same simulator for the E version with the same Voice warnings: (https://youtu.be/r1RxHTKbBMc?si=_HM5yeAJfP1rXin6&t=383)

No, that was a simulator for customers on Indo Def 2016, but at its core it was identical to the training one.

Oh, yeah, here is the actual pilot training one in Sweden (https://youtu.be/NKbkM1VSniw?si=bBa42dD2tcLd_RE2&t=418). this show is really well made btw, highly recommend the entire thing

The F111 does not even have this in game yet. I believe it will be getting it first when it comes.

I’m guessing they’ll implement it to all aircraft that has is at the same time.

All of these things were put on many other jets earlier on I agree on most of these but not only for the Gripen. The meteor missles is why to advance for RN. Data link will most likely come for Sweden and the USA pretty soon. EWS will be a little later comeing for a lot of nations or when the USA gets the A-6 SWIP. All great ideas but they should be coming to everyone not just the Gripen.

Maybe but the F111 should have came with it. The B-1 will also need it these planes were made around theses low alt bombing strikes in the middle east/Vietnam. Same with the F16 here is a video of it pulling a guy up after he went unconscious and below 4500 feet pretty cool device.

@Smin1080p

Will Swedish JAS39C recieve AGM65-D/G? Considering its compatible with all Nato munitions it should have access to those Maverick models, otherwise other Gripen models will have more advantage in terms of CAS capabilities.

the IRIS-T is beyond the Aim-9X in capability, it honestly wouldn’t even be a fair missile.

So we give it to a refitted chaika and send it to 12.7, ja?

For the second time in this thread, I am entirely aware of that fact. It’d be fun tho.

@Necronomica

I just recieved Smin’s answer about AGM-65D/G situation.

He said its currently not planned but we can submit bug report for it, considering other Gripen’s recieved ordinance they didnt use i believe we have a high chance to get those Mavericks.

About the radar the current Gripen C in the Swedish Air Force are under upgrade to the Mk IV, some have already received it other have not, the basic radar before this is the Mk III so it should absolutely be upgraded to a higher standard. Bugg reports away!

If they wont add it to the swedish one id rather the other gripens not get it. Either they all get it ahistorical or none. If hungary actually used them then grrat but the SAAF one didnt.

they just added the MAW system to an F-16 on DEV:

i REALLY hope that they are adding it to all jets that have it.
i reported the JAS39 MAW about 6 months ago and it got acknowledged and sent as suggestion.

Edit:
@Smin1080p since there now is a MAW (with slave CM to MAW) on the DEV is the plan to give it all the jets that have that function at the same time or is it going to be a slower rollout over several updates?

We’d be lucky for them to bother adding it

Welp, i cant make bug report about AGM-65D/G due to unknown error.

I already wrote the content and saved with Screenshots and official SAAB brochure, so if anyone is interested i can send my outline.
