They had a year to do something and still cant just go into the modelling thing they use and just remove 2 little launchers???
There’s nothing to do, as it was passed along as a suggestion not a bug fix. Meaning it’s up to the dev’s if they want to change it.
I dont know if its a contrarian belief they had an amount of different tanks, just that its common belief they had very few overall produced
Why is this tank even in the game? Japan never actually had or used this tank, so it is just a fictional what-if scenario…
They bought it, paid for it and RETAINED ownership during it’s use by the SS Pz.Abt 101 in Normandy.
Also it’s still more real than the XP-50 and 55, Ho 229, Chi-Ri and so on
Ok, but some ownership on paper is the weakest excuse to give a country a premium Tiger. Japan never actually had it themselves. They never used it in combat. The Tiger is a very real tank, yes, but a Japanese-operated Tiger is still just fictional and so it should have no place in WT.
The XP-50 and Chi-Ri are very real. More real than this Japanese Tiger. The Ho 229 is a bit more of a stretch, but even that was real and I would say more real than a Tiger that Japan only technically had.
and what must be added to japs and israel? another clones?
why are kronstadt, е100, xp50, j6k1, ki-94-2, keun kai in 3 (!) modifications even in this game? they all paper vehicles
Ok, but a half justified partial prototype vehicle still is more unique, and still makes a little bit more sense than a copy-paste clone that was never actually physically owned or used by the “recipient” country. As an example, I’m sure you’d agree that China being given a copy-paste Maus makes less sense than the E-100 being added into the game.
Never claimed they didn’t exist.
Let me rephrase then, The HT No.6 is way more realistic than the in-game representation of prototype vehicles without attached cannons/MGs such as Chi-Ri, XP-50, XP-55, Ho 229 and many other .
Ok then.
I’m fine with removing the HT.6 as long as XP-50 loses it’s guns (they were never mounted on anything other than a mock-up), Ho 229 loses its cannons, Radkampf 90 loses it’s ability to rotate it’s turret, MEXAS Leopard is removed from German TT, Tiger II Sla. is removed from german TT along with Panther II, Tiger 105, Coelian, Ostwind II, Merkavas from US TT are removed, VIDAR is removed, Argentinian vehicles from German TT are removed, Finland is made it’s own TT, Soviets lose the Kronstadt, R2Y2s are romoved, Ho-Ris are removed, Chi-Ha LG is removed or limited to 1 shot only and I could go on all day
Germany and Japan were allies, Japan bought the tank and it remained theirs until it got blown up, simple as.
Want 100% realism? Find a new game to play cause this ain’t it, I’ve thrown that tought away a long time ago.
Ok, now you’re taking it too far. I’m simply saying the Tiger never made it to Japanese shores (and it couldn’t) and it was never crewed or used in combat by the Japanese. It remained German in all but the eyes of some documents. Besides, Japan was just going to use it for testing like they did with one off samples they ordered from Germany. It made no sense to add it, whereas adding an XP-50 in its intended configuration (with the guns) is not really that much of a stretch.
And the Ht No.6 was INTENDED to be in service in the Japanese army.
you seem to have a problem with a very common and generally accepted or ignored issue by most of the players, which is the fake features of vehicles, the HT#6 problem is exclusive to japan and that tiger tank, no other instance of it in game, it’s an anomaly, a sore thumb, a different kind of fake, a better fake in your opinion but a worse one in mine (and common sense tbh).
also i’m not sure what you mean by removing panther 2, tiger2 105mm, coelian? they are already removed and no longer accessible by any means. you surely don’t mean they take them away from players who already have them do you? japanese tiger is still accessible and that’s the problem.
you can’t stream on a laptop while only having the laptop’s receipt. if one thinks they can do it, that’s beyond fake or real argument, that’s called being crazy.
hopefully with the full removal of the receipttiger people waiting on further receipt tanks will realize it’s a far fetched idea to give vehicles to nations under trivial circumstances like receipts. (but since japanese tree already is a Disneyland and anything is possible with things like ho-ri proto and production, M47, chi-ri II, HT#6 even I never rule it out, they have gone too far already, what stops them now?)
not at all, collect what’s there, if they remove the reciepttiger playerbase will forget it existed in 2 years, if you have it already you get to keep it. if you want to insist on the “it existed” part then its rightful place is the german tree where it “existed” irl, so naturally the tank can also exist in game but in the german tree. and it can be named HT#6 courtesy of it being sold to japan on paper and that’s it.
Then add a fun mechanic where the germans pay the Japanese to use it.
Thing is, the vehicle was bought by Japan and intended to be shipped to the mainland and used. Germany couldn’t deliver, so they rented the tanks from Japan to use them.
The only thing standing between Japan and a service Tiger was the German inability to ship it.
At the very least this makes more sense than the multitude of trial vehicles found in this game.
You say this yet when you were talking about the Tiger you said this,
So which one is it Mr.Double Standards, are all fictional what-if vehicles allowed or not?
And of course, barely any time invested in the tech tree as usual
Oh yeah, don’t bother responding 'cause you won’t get another answer from me. ♥
