Jagdtiger and Tortoise at 6.7?

Well I’m not familiar with any kind of active defense.

  1. you are slow so most of the time you’ll spot enemies in the distance and fight things from a distance.

  2. if you do push far then there is a change at some point some enemy will end up at your flank, so you need to constantly check the map and limit yourself.

  3. sadly, I don’t have any squadmates i can trust to cover my back in case no. 2

So yeah it is a very passive playstyle for some one like me. You sit at a distance, preferably on an inclined hill, throwing rocks, hoping for the best.

Idk how you managed such a feat. As far as I’m aware your armor is paper to them. And your gun can’t do shxt against their Armor from the front.

I roll my eyes whenever people start talking about playing anything passively, including these two vehicles - because rarely will you see people do it right, and what usually happens is they’ll sit back in an absolute silly spot and then get destroyed by CAS. And to top it off, they’ll come to the forum to complain about CAS instead of working on their positioning and tactics.

See i did mention pushing up the map but not far enough to be an actual push, just relocating to a more active area for you. As for complaining about cas, i have always been killed by cas most of the time, i will frequently have nuke level matches where all my deaths have been due to cas, i do rage but I’m not whining about. Cas is for everyone equally so what’s the point.

Aslo you are not adding anything to the discussion, you are just saying ‘skill issue’ like an oh so high and mighty godly player. The thread is not whining about anything, we are just having an uncivilised discussion about stuff. You may see me changing my views over the course of many of my replies. So yeah I’m not some brickheaded idioit just whining about stuff that killed me.

I haven’t even read the topic. That’s just my reflex reaction to seeing the ‘play it passively’ mentioned. Wasn’t even your comment where I saw it. Not judging your skills, haven’t checked your stats, not making any judgement of anyone here. Just saying about experiences in game in general. Wasn’t attempting to add anything to the topic, because I can think of many 6.3-7.3 British vehicles I’d rather take out than the Tort (I’m especially a sucker for the FV4005/AVRE, etc). Carry on.

give back the commander mg and go to 7.0 is accepyable.The line up is already 7.0 because the kugelblitz and ho229 me262.

Angles are wonderfully jank and I did keep breaking their main guns

as you learn maps you figure out good spots to both protect bases and force teams back

Why would you use those two heaps of crap? None of germany’s 7.0 jets are good.

i think they are good enough for 7.0.Otherwise i have to use ta152 and do335,they are too slow for 13km spawn.

They really aren’t, I’ve played the F2H Banshee recently and there is no comparison, it is so much better than a 262 or 229 and yet only sits a single step higher.

Look at the Su-11 and Me 262 C-1a, which are better than both and is at the same BR as the Banshee.

The dorito is downright difficult to use, due to the lack of rudders I kept finding myself having trouble putting the crosshair on enemy plane, it turns great and has enough ammo to spam full auto but the damn thing feels like a tank without stabilizer lol sometimes I think its a better CAS than CAP

Su11 maybe, but I’ve killed a few of those and they feel very very similar. 262 C1a requires a mentally insane pilot to be used well due to those dogshit guns.

Yeah I’ve not had any issue shooting those down. Poor roll rate, basically no rudder response, absolutely HUGE target.

I have 1v1’d some friends of mine in the Banshee, and I’ll tell you that I couldn’t really do much to the Su-11, although I did fair a bit better without the fuel tanks on the sides of the aircraft.

The guns don’t become an issue once you get the enemy slow, which can happen quite often with how great the flight performance is for its BR (with the boosters on, of course).

I will talk from experience, when any of those tank shoot Torts copula with APHE it will delete 1/2 of its crew, it happened to me quite often, everyone just knows to shoot that huge obvious copula weakspot that can be penned by many 3.7/4.0 tanks like Pz.IV G and thanos snap gunner, loader and machine gunner almost every time and sometimes even 2nd loader, not even gonna coment on Tiger I with its Pzgr nuke shell, that thing oneshots me into copula EVERY time, only thing i have in favor of me is that German mains are about only people who sometimes dont know to shoot copula
I mean yes against 5.3 Tortoise would have good armor but it can be easily negated by anyone who has ~100mm pen APHE or 150 mm HE shell (that overpessures whole crew via copula shot simulary to Tigers Pzgr)

I still believe Jagditger should be at least the same as Ho-Ri BR, just a little buff reload time, considering Hori now is 7.3 and prototype one is 6.7.

Ho-Ri is overtiered and arguably significantly better.

Jagtiger was moved from Tier 5 to 4 long time ago, and like french tank, the Ho-Ri is overtier as well

Mate you’re comparing 2 very similar vehicles based on their performance not based on player interactability. Which if you have seen. Those types of vehicles often end up being prioritized as major threats. By both ground and air. So a lot of us end up focusing on keeping it distracted. Cause if we don’t. Usually our team will be wiped out.

Then they will have to buff the Maus reload too as the interior are the size of olympic swimming pool, it will not make sense of jack tiger can reload faster than it
